NOTES TO EXHIBITORS:<br />

• Exhibits should be in accordance with Publication 34<br />

• Containers must be leakproof<br />

• Exhibits must be grown by the exhibitor<br />

• Exhibits must contain the exact number of flowers specified<br />

• Measure the diameter of the blooms and enter proper size<br />

• Flowers are judged on condition, form, uniformity, color and size<br />

• A bloom is one flower to a stem - buds should be carefully removed<br />

• A stem or stalk may carry one or more flowers and/or buds<br />

• A spray is a portion of a plant with a number of flowers and buds<br />

• Do not present seed heads or wilted flowers in the exhibit unless specifically called for<br />

• Plan to water your flowers or exhibit during the fair<br />

• Carefully groom your exhibit to remove insects, dust, cobwebs, dead or spent blooms<br />

• Cut flowers are judged on flowers only<br />

• Arrangements are judged on container and floral material<br />
