Founder’s Gala<br />
<strong>La</strong> <strong>Salle</strong>’s second Annual Founder’s Gala was held on April 26, 200 in the elegant<br />
Crystal Tea Room of the Wanamaker Building in Center City, Philadelphia. Co-chaired by<br />
Trish and Austin ’79 Meehan along with Julie and Chip ’73 Behr, over two hundred<br />
alumni, parents, Christian Brothers, and member sof the school community joined the festivities<br />
to celebrate the life and work of <strong>La</strong> <strong>Salle</strong>’s founder, St. John Baptist de <strong>La</strong> <strong>Salle</strong>. Proceeds<br />
of over $60,000 have been earmarked to provide need-based financial assistance to deserving<br />
young men who would not be able to attend <strong>La</strong> <strong>Salle</strong> without such help.<br />
