The <strong>Society</strong> For <strong>Leukocyte</strong> <strong>Biology</strong><br />
Printed Abstract books were made available online<br />
during pre-registration. Those purchased will be<br />
available <strong>for</strong> pick-up at the registration desk. A very<br />
limited number <strong>of</strong> copies will be available <strong>for</strong> onsite<br />
purchase ($30) at the registration desk.<br />
Abstracts are also available <strong>for</strong> viewing in the eLB<br />
version www.cenveomobile.com/i/81986 or as a PDF<br />
on the SLB website.<br />
Internet Access<br />
Internet access is complimentary in the guest rooms<br />
<strong>for</strong> those staying onsite at the Grand Wailea (use your<br />
room number and last name). Complimentary access<br />
is also provided in the foyers, meeting spaces and<br />
common areas <strong>of</strong> the hotel including the Cyber Café<br />
(Haleakala Gardens). Bring your own device and enjoy<br />
the tranquility <strong>of</strong> this setting. This access will also<br />
work in the poster board area <strong>for</strong> mobile viewing <strong>of</strong><br />
abstracts and posters simultaneously.<br />
Cyber Café<br />
Again this year at SLB, we have a Cyber Café <strong>for</strong><br />
our attendees which will be located in the Haleakala<br />
Gardens. Use this space to view abstracts online,<br />
check your email, meet with small groups to discuss<br />
areas <strong>of</strong> interest, have a mini-job fair and meet with<br />
prospective employers (see message and job board<br />
near the registration desk), or just sit and meet other<br />
SLB members!<br />
Accommodations<br />
Accommodations are provided by the Grand Wailea,<br />
Maui, Hawai’i. Surrounded by the rising slopes <strong>of</strong><br />
Haleakala and the expansive azure blue <strong>of</strong> the Pacific<br />
Ocean, the design <strong>of</strong> this unique resort captivates<br />
and delights the senses. Visit the concierge <strong>for</strong> travel<br />
assistance and touring options.<br />

Airport and Transportation<br />
Kahului Airport is easily accessible to the Grand Wailea.<br />
The Grand Wailea Resort <strong>of</strong>fers transportation to and<br />
from the airport <strong>for</strong> a service charge. Taxi cabs are<br />
readily available at the airport as well.<br />
Parking<br />
Valet parking is $30 per car, per day, plus tax. This<br />
daily fee includes unlimited in-and-out privileges and<br />
24-hour valet service.<br />
Speakers<br />
Presenters are asked to load their talks at least 2<br />
hours prior to their sessions by visiting the speaker<br />
ready room (Maile 3). For loading or if you would like<br />
to practice your presentation, please visit the speaker<br />
ready room in the Maile 3 (hours listed below.) SLB<br />
will provide laptops, LCD projectors/screens and<br />
microphones. If you require any assistance, please<br />
contact one <strong>of</strong> the AV Technicians. Equipment is<br />
compatible with both Mac and Micros<strong>of</strong>t products.<br />
Please arrive in the session room at least 15 minutes<br />
prior to your start time.<br />

Poster Set up/Poster Sessions<br />
There will be four (4) poster sessions during the<br />
meeting where posters, which are all displayed<br />
throughout the entire conference, will be <strong>for</strong>mally<br />
presented by the authors. Poster boards will be set-up<br />
in Haleakala I. Please post and remove your posters as<br />
described in your acceptance letters. Poster boards<br />
are available beginning noon on Sunday, October<br />
28th and must be removed by 3:00 PM on Tuesday,<br />
October 30th. The organizers are not responsible <strong>for</strong><br />
