The Society For Leukocyte Biology
Printed Abstract books were made available online
during pre-registration. Those purchased will be
available for pick-up at the registration desk. A very
limited number of copies will be available for onsite
purchase ($30) at the registration desk.
Abstracts are also available for viewing in the eLB
version www.cenveomobile.com/i/81986 or as a PDF
on the SLB website.
Internet Access
Internet access is complimentary in the guest rooms
for those staying onsite at the Grand Wailea (use your
room number and last name). Complimentary access
is also provided in the foyers, meeting spaces and
common areas of the hotel including the Cyber Café
(Haleakala Gardens). Bring your own device and enjoy
the tranquility of this setting. This access will also
work in the poster board area for mobile viewing of
abstracts and posters simultaneously.
Cyber Café
Again this year at SLB, we have a Cyber Café for
our attendees which will be located in the Haleakala
Gardens. Use this space to view abstracts online,
check your email, meet with small groups to discuss
areas of interest, have a mini-job fair and meet with
prospective employers (see message and job board
near the registration desk), or just sit and meet other
SLB members!
Accommodations
Accommodations are provided by the Grand Wailea,
Maui, Hawai’i. Surrounded by the rising slopes of
Haleakala and the expansive azure blue of the Pacific
Ocean, the design of this unique resort captivates
and delights the senses. Visit the concierge for travel
assistance and touring options.

Airport and Transportation
Kahului Airport is easily accessible to the Grand Wailea.
The Grand Wailea Resort offers transportation to and
from the airport for a service charge. Taxi cabs are
readily available at the airport as well.
Parking
Valet parking is $30 per car, per day, plus tax. This
daily fee includes unlimited in-and-out privileges and
24-hour valet service.
Speakers
Presenters are asked to load their talks at least 2
hours prior to their sessions by visiting the speaker
ready room (Maile 3). For loading or if you would like
to practice your presentation, please visit the speaker
ready room in the Maile 3 (hours listed below.) SLB
will provide laptops, LCD projectors/screens and
microphones. If you require any assistance, please
contact one of the AV Technicians. Equipment is
compatible with both Mac and Microsoft products.
Please arrive in the session room at least 15 minutes
prior to your start time.

• Sunday, October 28th ..........7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday, October 29th .........7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday, October 30 ............7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Poster Set up/Poster Sessions
There will be four (4) poster sessions during the
meeting where posters, which are all displayed
throughout the entire conference, will be formally
presented by the authors. Poster boards will be set-up
in Haleakala I. Please post and remove your posters as
described in your acceptance letters. Poster boards
are available beginning noon on Sunday, October
28th and must be removed by 3:00 PM on Tuesday,
October 30th. The organizers are not responsible for
