Heading up the editorial team is Benjamin Genocchio. A former New<br />
York Times art critic, Genocchio began his career in art journalism in<br />
his native Australia, writing for Business Review Weekly. He later wrote<br />
art criticism for the Bulletin, a weekly current-affairs magazine, and the<br />
Sydney Morning Herald newspaper before being appointed as an art<br />
critic for the Australian, Australia’s national daily newspaper, where he<br />
became the paper’s chief art critic. He holds a Ph.D. in art history and<br />
is the author and editor of six books on art and artists. In early 2010 he<br />
left the Times to take up his post at Art+Auction.<br />
