At drupa 2012 from 3 to 16 may, Roba-
tech is presenting effi cient and intelligent
solutions for the graphics industry and is
surprising visitors with innovative highlights.
One of the highlights at booth 14 /
B70 are the SpeedStar Diamond application
heads which apply up to 800 dots
of adhesive per second – a world-wide innovation.
The application heads set completely
new standards in terms of speed,
durability and precision. They are hence
well suited for gluing samples or cards
onto paper. Robatech will be presenting
this process, which is referred to as „tipping“,
at drupa. The RobaPurTM 4 MOD
hotmelt units meltand feed PUR hotmelt
adhesives. The melting is accomplished
using the Melton-Demand (MOD) technology.
This ensures that only the quantity
required will be melted. Thanks to the
innovative method, outstanding production
conditions are guaranteed, because
the viscosity of the adhesive remains in
effect as a result. CartoGlue LPTM feeds
opti-Blend
opti-color presents the automatic ink
supply and control system opti-Blend
4000 for usage at modern gravure and
fl exo printing machines. In the ink tanks
the level is measured continuously with
automatic refi ll valves for inks, extender
and solvents. The dosing is based on
individual recipe parameters for each
component. During the dosing the added
amounts are precisely measured to
maintain a constant mix/ratio in the tank.
These data are also used for an effective
analysis of the consumption in process.
By the combination with ViscoStar falling
dispersion adhesive and uses up to four
heads to apply it to print products and packaging
materials. The optional 7“ touchscreen
of the pattern control enables the
user-friendly creation of application patterns.
The operating data software Info-
PlusTM records glue application system
data, uses it to compile a logbook, calculates
consumption data for optimisation
and announces preventive maintenance
measures. The intelligent software can be
used for further processing and evaluation
of the readily accessible data, thus
improving production processes.
Robatech‘s quality products gain added
value, thanks to the RobaPlusTM service.
The completion of a RobaPlusTM
agreement covering all of the Robatech
products at a company guarantees higher
effi ciency, thanks to rapid intervention
times. Producers thus simultaneously lower
their costs and reduce manufacturing
downtimes to a minimum.

solvents. Optionally an inline temperature
control is available as well.
opti-Blend 4000 systems are available as
single station units or with a central control
and screen for up to 12 printing stations.
Data of production can be stored
per printing station and per job. Those
data are also available for external usage
and evaluation.
