ServiceOn Microwave management system
ServiceOn provides one management solution supporting all
Ericsson Broadband network products. The common management
system architecture and features employed across
the product set minimises the amount of operator training
needed when new elements are added to existing networks.

Manager that provides end-to-end Network Management
for all the transport technologies and supported services

ServiceOn Microwave management system
The main aim of ServiceOn for the Microwave portfolio is
to provide comprehensive management support for the
Ericsson Microwave product set. The component based
architecture of the ServiceOn family enables additional
features and network element types to be added to an
existing management deployment by installation of the
corresponding software module. For example selected
SDH optical elements can be managed under ServiceOn
Microwave by installation of a plug-in software package. In
this way a Microwave networks features and services can be
extended to meet new market demands, whilst maintaining
a common management platform.
The flexibility offered by the ServiceOn architecture enables
network operators the freedom to select the features and network
hardware needed to deliver their products and services
in the knowledge that a common management solution exists.
