This Oktoberfest besides having great food and beer,<br />
featured a variety of bands. On Friday: The Black Jack<br />
Band and The Gruff Sisters Kitchen Party Band.<br />
Saturday: Simon Clarke, Gail Gavan, Dani & the Plager<br />
Boys and Ridin’ Shotgun. Sunday: A noon parade led<br />
by the Renfrew Highland Pipes & Drums. In the<br />
afternoon: The Saxons German Band. The weekend<br />
also featured a fashion show, a children’s mini<br />
midway, a horseshoe tournament, numerous craft<br />
booths, a truck & tractor pull, outhouse races, and even<br />
a Giant Pumpkins contest. Wow! Photos taken Sunday.<br />

and Manfred and is now living in Shawville. The Stridl family are former neighbours<br />
of Gerda in Germany!<br />
