14 —Courses dropped after this date for Session II will be recorded as DP or DF,<br />

according to the report of the professor.<br />

14 —Deadline for renting doctoral regalia for August 2006 Commencement.<br />

14 —Last day for submission of the Record of Oral Examination form to Graduate<br />

School for dissertation/thesis students.<br />

14 —Last day for electronic submission of the departmentally defended and<br />

approved copy of the dissertation/thesis to the Graduate School for August<br />

2006 Commencement.<br />

18 —Students withdrawing from Session II beginning this date will receive grades<br />

of WP or WF, according to the report of the professor of record.<br />

21 —Change-of-Grade form to remove incompletes and petitions for transfer of<br />

credit for all students and all coursework must be received by the Graduate<br />

School by this date.<br />

21 —Last day to submit electronic dissertation/thesis and to complete fi nal<br />

processing in the Graduate School.<br />

25 —Courses dropped after this date for Session II will be recorded as failed.<br />

26 —Students withdrawing from Session II beginning this date will receive grades<br />

of WF.<br />

28 —Incomplete courses must be completed by this date for credit for August<br />

graduation.<br />

August 9 —End of Session II; fi nal examinations, Session II.<br />

9 —Last day for students in non-thesis programs to take the oral or comprehensive<br />

examination for August 2006 Commencement. The Record of Oral<br />

Examination form, or results from comprehensive exams, must be delivered<br />

to the Graduate School by this date (do not put in campus mail).<br />

10-11 —Administrative check on candidates for graduation.<br />

11 —Doctoral Dinner, 7 p.m., Barfi eld Drawing Room, Bill Daniel Student<br />

Center<br />

12 —Residence halls close at noon for Summer Sessions. Graduating seniors may<br />

petition for an extension to stay until Saturday, August 12 at 5 p.m..<br />

12 —Commencement, Ferrell Center, 10 a.m. Commencement information is<br />

available online at www.baylor.edu/commencement.<br />

FALL SEMESTER 2006, August 21–December 5<br />

April 13 - August 25 —BearWeb will be open to all eligible students for registration and schedule<br />

changes.<br />

April 13 - August 18 —Registration and schedule changes can be made in the Offi ce of the Registrar,<br />

third fl oor, Robinson Tower from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (excluding weekends).<br />

July 11 —Fall invoices available online at www.baylor.edu/cashiers.<br />

Fall Financial Settlement begins. Pay and confi rm attendance online at<br />

www.baylor.edu/cashiers.<br />

31 —Fall invoice payment and confi rmation due date.<br />

August 15 —Deadline for Fall Financial Settlement. Classes will be canceled for students<br />

that have not paid and/or confi rmed attendance by 5 p.m. If allowed to reregister,<br />

a $100 re-registration fee will be assessed if before class begins;<br />

$150 if after class begins.<br />

16 —Graduate School/GSA Orientation, Blume Conference Center, Cashion. All<br />

day event, watch for details.<br />

. 17 —Residence halls and apartments open for fall semester. Move in times to be<br />

announced.<br />
