January 12 —BearWeb registration and schedule changes.<br />

December 1 —Spring invoices available online at www.baylor.edu/cashiers.<br />

Spring Financial Settlement begins. Pay and confi rm attendance online at<br />

www.baylor.edu/cashiers.<br />

15 —Spring invoice payment and confi rmation due date.<br />

January 2-5 —Registration and schedule changes can be made in the Offi ce of the Registrar,<br />

third fl oor, Robinson Tower, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (excluding weekends).<br />

2 —Deadline for Spring Financial Settlement. Classes will be canceled for students<br />

that have not paid and/or confi rmed attendance by 5 p.m. If allowed to reregister,<br />

a $100 re-registration fee will be assessed if before class begins;<br />

$150 if after class begins.<br />

. 2 —Residence halls open at 9 a..m. for students participating in sorority rush.<br />

3 —Residence halls open at 8 a.m.<br />

8 —Class sessions begin.<br />

8-12 —BearWeb will be open for late registration and schedule changes. After<br />

January 12, BearWeb registration will be closed for the Spring 2007 term.<br />

8 —Beginning January 8, late registration and schedule changes can be made<br />

in the Offi ce of the Registrar, third fl oor, Robinson Tower, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.<br />

weekdays.<br />

8 —Assessment of $50 late registration fee begins.<br />

15 —Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.<br />

16 —Change in Schedule fees charge begins<br />

16 —Last day for graduate students to fi le for May 2007 Commencement and to<br />

complete the Graduate School Exit Survey<br />

17 —Last day to register or add courses.<br />

25 —Students withdrawing beginning this date will receive grades of WP.<br />

February 5 —Courses dropped after this date will be recorded as DP or DF, according to<br />

the report of the professor of record.<br />

6 —Students withdrawing beginning this date will receive grades of WP or WF,<br />

according to the report of the professor of record.<br />

21 —Deadline for purchaisng doctoral regalia for May 2007 Commencement<br />

March 5 —Courses dropped after this date will be recorded as failed.<br />

6 —Students withdrawing beginning this date will receive grades of WF.<br />

9 —Residence halls close at 6 p.m. The Arbors, North Village, and <strong>Baylor</strong> Plaza<br />

will remain open.<br />

10-18 —Spring break. Residence halls open at 1 p.m. after Spring Break.<br />

20 —Summer and Fall 2007 early registration begins (refer to Early Registration<br />

Schedule on web).<br />

23 —Last day to take the oral examination (oral defense) for dissertation/thesis<br />

candidates for December 2007 Commencement. (All incompletes for<br />

coursework other than dissertation/thesis hours must be cleared before the<br />

oral examination can be taken.) The Preliminary Technical Review is required<br />

and must be scheduled at least 2 weeks before the oral examination. Refer<br />

to the Guidelines: www.baylor.edu/graduate/edt.<br />

April 6 —Last day to satisfy the graduate foreign language requirement and report the<br />

results to the Graduate School.<br />

6 —Last day for electronic submission of the departmentally defended and<br />

approved copy of the disseration/thesis for May 2007 Commencement.<br />

6-9 —Easter holidays. Residence halls remain open during Easter Break<br />

17 —Deadline for renting doctoral regalia for May 2007 Commencement.<br />

19 —Diadeloso.<br />

20 —Last day to submit electronic dissertation/thesis and to complete fi nal<br />

processing in the Graduate School. Last day to submit Record of Oral<br />

Examination form for dissertation/thesis candidates.<br />

29 —Dead Week Begins<br />

30 —Last day of classes for the Spring semester. Last day for non-thesis candidates<br />

to take the oral or comprehensive examination for May 2007 Commencement.<br />

The Record of Oral Examination form, or results from comprehensive exams,<br />

must be received in the Graduate School by this date (do not put in campus<br />

mail).<br />
