St. Joseph’s Academy Junior Urban Plunge Students<br />

• St. Patrick Apartments in Florissant is looking for a<br />

group of volunteers who’d like to get some exercise this<br />

winter – they have about 90,000 square feet of leaves that<br />

need raking!<br />

• The gift shop at Mary Queen and Mother Center is looking<br />

for volunteers to work a 4 hour shift on Saturdays.<br />

• Mother of Perpetual Help is still looking for volunteers<br />

that are available twice a month to give manicures to some<br />

of the residents.<br />

Students from Cor Jesu Academy gave manicures to residents at Mother of<br />

Perpetual Help and then spent the afternoon playing games and visiting.<br />

Phi Delta Theta Fraternity members from SLU stacked hundreds of brick pavers and<br />

cleaned up and mulched the flower beds at the entrance to our Shrewsbury Campus.<br />

• DuBourg House (on Eichelberger) would love to have<br />

some volunteers that would like to occasionally come play<br />

games or visit with their residents.<br />

• St. William Apartments in Dardenne Prairie is looking<br />

for volunteers who enjoy gardening to help them with<br />

some gardening and landscaping projects.<br />

• Mary Queen and Mother Center is also looking for volunteers<br />

to assist with planned activities, to be friendly visitors<br />

with residents and an organist for daily mass.<br />
