Undermounting
Kitchen sinks are traditionally
fi tted with the rim of the sink sitting
on top of the work surface. With
solid surface work surfaces such
as marble, granite and wood,
undermounting the sink has
become increasingly popular. The
sink is mounted to the underside
of the work surface giving a
clean, uncluttered look and
preventing dirt from becoming
trapped around or below the
rim.
