CiTDB RDF Structure v10 Introduction How to Use This Book This book is a reference guide to the contents of the CI Technology Database TM . To make it easy to use, it is broken down into five main sections: Site Tables, Site Contacts Table, Product Tables, Parent Table, and Other Tables. Within each section, there are chapters relating to the appropriate tables for that section. For instance, there are five chapters in the Site Tables section. In each chapter, there is a general description of a specific data table, the data it includes, and the layout of the table. Each table layout provides the following information: Field Format Length Description Field Name A - alphanumeric, D - decimal, or I – integer Number of Bytes Short Description Following the layout is an alphabetical listing of all the fields in the table. This list describes the fields in more detail, and when possible, provides values and related fields. Quick Reference for Data Tables and Fields If you want to look up a particular field name or table type, refer to the detailed Appendices in the back of the book. Table Keys & Relationships Before you begin looking at the data in the database, you should be familiar with a field known as SITEID. SITEID is a unique 9digit number that Harte-Hanks assigns to each site in the database. SITEID should be used as the key field to link related tables. (Most tables will be linked using SITEID.) The other key fields are CORPID (used with the Parent table) and TABKEY (used in the Product and Product Specifications tables).
