Dear Guest, 

Haveltourist has nine campsites in the Mecklenburg Lake Plateau in a unique and beautiful forest and lake area in Germany that has few 

equals. Each campsite is by a lake and almost all the campsites are linked to each other by the Havel or other water bodies. This makes our 

area a paradise, and not only for explorers by water. 

At our Campsite and Holiday Resort Havelberge we offer our guests a complete leisure activities programme with children's entertainment, 

numerous sports programs for youth and adults and for the whole family as well as an evening program on our show stage. This programme 

is open to all Haveltourist guests. At the other sites it is quieter. But here too, there is a lot going on for our small and large guests during the 

high season. 

It's a matter of course that the sanitary facilities are modern and well maintained. We have recently invested subtantially to make you feel at 

ease as our guest in the midst of nature whilst enjoying the comforts of home. 

Our campsites have been classifi ed, resp. have received distinctions by the DTV (German Tourism Association) and by the ADAC (German 

Automobile Association) as “Super Side Award 2011”. The Camping Resort Havelberge was honoured with gold in the national competition 

"Exemplary campsites in Germany 2006", and is one of the top places in Europe included in the "Leading Campings" group. Since the founding 

of Haveltourist GmbH & Co. KG, close cooperation has been maintained with the Camping and Tourist Park Wulfener Hals on the Baltic island 

of Fehmarn in the framework of "Camping & More". 

Haveltourist has long had established an environmental management system in all its campsites that is certifi ed for three operating locations 

under the EU EMAS 3 standard and is also subject to Ecocamping standards. We participate in the Environmental Alliance of Mecklenburg- 

Western Pomerania and since 2008 we have contributed signifi cantly to the protection of our climate: all power comes only from plants that use 

renewable energy sources, and no longer any coal-fi red or nuclear power plants. Apart from numerous other measures that we take, we save 

an additional 500 tons of CO2 annually this way. 

For several years we have been training and schooling young people to become managers in the tourist and hotel industry. 

The nine Haveltourist campsites are presented in detail in this catalogue. The site plans and pricing are clearly and directly laid out on the 

campsite pages. We would like to point you to our many special offers with many savings possibilities summarised for all sites on pages 48-49. 

We have an accurate space-reservation system. We consider this to be the most customer-friendly solution. Camping has a communicative 

character. Many guests return year after year and know exactly what place they or their children wish to occupy. Perhaps you wish to have

Holidays in the land of a 

thousand lakes 

The Mecklenburg Lake District is one of the largest contiguous areas of lakes in Central 

Europe and one of the most beautiful water touring areas in Germany. The distinctive land- 

scape with its more than one thousand lakes makes your camping holiday an unforgettable 

experience. Many of the lakes are linked by the river Havel or other streams and channels 

which allow the boater to spend hours or days drifting through these waters. The nearby 

Müritz National Park with its landscapes of forests and lakes offers a unique nature experi- 

ence. 

Come and explore the Müritz - with its area of 117 square kilometres 

and depth of 31 metres, it's Germany's largest lake. 

Whether on foot, on water or on a trusty bike: many tours 

take you on numerous marked cycling and water trails 

through forests, meadows and bright fi elds, past castles, 

churches and mills. Get to know the country and its people. 

Nature still whole, a mild climate and the natural quiet indulge 

your senses and let you breathe with natural rhythms again. 

Take a long walk through the woods with its diverse stands of 

coniferous and deciduous trees or along the shore and enjoy 

the gentle sun rays.

Neustrelitz harbour Slawendorf 

Land, people and towns 

When getting to know the countryside and its people, you should 

defi nitely visit the city of Neustrelitz. And another tip: Leave your 

car behind and take the train from Gr. Quassow (about 800 m from 

Camping and Holiday Resort Havelberge) to Neustrelitz, which 

was fi rst mentioned in documents in 1733 and still preserves small 

French civil engineering structures. 

After a city tour and a leisurely stroll through the castle park, we 

recommend a visit to the Slavic Village, where you can travel back 

to the era of the Slavs, about 1000 years ago. You can learn the 

ancient craft of the Slavs, such as forging, pottery, carving, weaving, 

working with soap stone and candle-drawing.

In summer the Neustrelitz Schlossgartenfestspiele festival fi lls the 

romantic castle garden with life. Entertaining plays and operettas 

provide a great atmosphere. The harbour also invites casual and 

relaxing strolls. 

At the end of your trip to Neustrelitz you can go by steamer on the 

Three Lakes tour and experience the natural paradise around the 

Havel.

Exploring the area by bus from Camping and Holiday 

Resort Havelberge 

Over the holidays we organise trips for our guests to places of interest 

in the area. Have a look at our events program. 

The capital, Berlin, is only about 110 km away. Take a day trip to 

the metropolis and explore by the multicultural atmosphere of this 

city. 

The city of Rheinsberg is also worth a visit, and while there a 

tour of the Rheinsberg castle should be on the program too. The 

Rheinsberg Palace and its park gave a substantial spur to stately 

buildings and gardens in Berlin and Potsdam-Sanssouci. Visit 

the Palace Museum and the Kurt Tucholsky memorial, or take in 

concerts at the Palace Theatre or the "Open Air Opera" in the 

Schlosshof and Schlosspark.

Müritz National Park 

Crystal-clear lakes surrounded by lush green forests and moorlands add to the appeal 

of the Müritz National Park. Close your eyes, listen in on nature, breathe in the aromas 

of woods and fi elds and feel the gentle summer breeze on your skin. 

Sea and fi sh eagle draw their circles in the blue sky, then suddenly 

plunge down into the water of the lake to pull out a fi sh: 

nature is an adventure. Here in the wild you can observe kingfi 

shers, herons, cranes and wild geese. Paddling slowly among 

the 1,000 lakes, borne along by slow currents, enjoying nature 

wholly and fully. Stop to look on beavers building their lodge, 

a stork strutting gracefully on slender legs through the shore 

thicket and spying almost noiselessly for frogs. 

More than 800 plant species, 260 bird species, 880 butterfl y 

species and 1,500 beetle species have found their habitat in 

this unique landscape. 

The national park covers much of the Mecklenburg Lake District. 

It is 332 square kilometres and its approx. 400 km of hiking 

and biking trails are great exploration routes. The routes 

are signposted and a variety of information points staffed by 

employees of the conservation area provide you with the opportunity 

to explore and understand the National Park. 

On guided tours you can be shown how to classify mushrooms, 

for example and many details of fl ora and fauna of the 

Müritz National Park are vividly explained.

The Mecklenburg Lake District and the Müritz Na- 

tional Park allow touring not only by land but also 

by water. Merely hire from us a kayak, canoe or row 

boat or even a motorboat not subject to license, and 

everything that goes with it, and head off! 

The Müritz and the Strelitzer Lake District with the 

many lakes joined up by the Havel and numerous 

other small streams and canals are a unique water 

sports venue.

For this reason we have printed a water-touring map 

on page 24. If you haven't yet had the chance to get 

some experience in exploring water bodies, that's no 

problem. In a practical two-hour introductory course 

we'll show you the benefi ts and the enjoyment of this 

sport, so you can set off happily on your tour.

Canoe Centre Havelberge 

In Canoe Centre Havelberge a trained canoe counsellor will introduce you profes- 

sionally to the art of touring by water – whether solo, in a group or with your family. 

In the introductory course you'll learn how to paddle correctly 

and steer. Playful balancing exercises will leave you fi t 

to handle single-bladed paddles and Canadian canoes. The 

proper equipment can be rented from us. 

Many different tours are on offer. If you prefer, you can steer 

your way to seven other Haveltourist sites, as all are accessible 

by boat. We'll pick you and your boat up again or take 

you to a desired starting point. A special event is the "Special 

Night tour", including a barbecue around the campfi re, 

which leads on onto the Havel from Camping and Holiday 

Resort Havelberge. Later in the evening, you'll paddle back 

by torchlight. An unforgettable experience for young and old! 

Or get underway on your own steam. You pick up a canoe or 

two bikes with mini-tent and off you go. During your tour you 

can overnight at the other Haveltourist sites.

boat can hold up to 20 persons. We’ll show you how to do it.

Sport on and off the water 

"Try a new activity!" 

Water sports are part of the Mecklenburg 

Lake District and so naturally part of the 

Haveltourist campsites. Whether swimming, 

canoeing, sailing, fi shing or surfi ng, the 

choice is broad. 

But the region and the leisure activities at 

the Haveltourist sites also offer a lot to get 

up to on land...

On the campsites' own volleyball fi elds you can 

meet up with friends for a little game and practice 

spikes and serves and dive like pros into the 

fi ne sand after every ball. Or take a basketball 

and toss a few baskets on one of the basketball 

courts of Camping and Holiday Resort Havelberge. 

If this sounds like too much bustle, we recommend 

a hike or Nordic Walking through the 

beautiful landscape of lakes and woods. 

You can swing around on a bike and get to know 

the trails, go on a trekking tour with a mountain 

bike, try some companionable gymnastics to get 

the stiff bones back on track, or just try something 

new, like archery. Anything is possible. 

Hobby fi shermen will enjoy the rich fi shing waters. 

Fishing licenses are easily available at any 

of the campsite receptions of Haveltourist.

Here you can be a hero, artist or superstar 

Camping holidays are family holidays. Families take the time to 

do something together yet are happy too to make new friends 

and let mama and papa take in some quiet tours by themselves . 

There is plenty of variety and fun to be had. Craft and painting 

classes, guessing games, sports competitions, archery, volleyball 

tournaments, video clip dancing and much, much more. 

The skilled entertainment team of Camping and Tourist Resort 

Havelberge puts on a huge summer programme for children and 

young people. 

There is always something going on down at the game and football 

pitches, and at the latest friends can meet together on one 

of the swimming lakes "to stick the paddle in."

Of Indians, pirates and... 

Who as a child has never dreamt of playing in an Indian village 

and living through days of excitement and freedom? Sit with 

the other "Indians" around the campfi re and make Indian jewellery. 

Bubbling in the pot over the fi re is a home-made soup, and 

tales are told in the big chief's teepee. After a night hike, you 

can settle down in the sleeping teepee and dream of wilderness 

and adventure. 

Or build a raft with other children and head out "to sea". Step 

aboard a ship decked out for make-believe and feel like Peter 

Pan. 

Camping and Tourist Resort Havelberge welcomes children 

and our entertainment team takes good care of your little ones. 

This gives parents a chance to truly relax.

Motorhome holidays are becoming very 

popular. We're prepared and can offer 

campers the convenience they expect. 

Should you not want to tow a caravan, 

you can hire one on one of our sites: we 

offer caravans, mobile homes and holi- 

day homes for hire (see page 40). 

Motorhomes are welcome at all Haveltourist sites. You can see 

on the charts which motorhome pitches have something special 

in store. Supply and disposal stations are installed on most 

pitches. 

And RV guests who only want to stay overnight from 9 p.m. to 9 

a.m. we offer a quick-stop discount on our campsites.

Restaurant Havelberge doesn't just serve delicious 

food. Every Friday in summer we host a gala buffet din- 

ner with musicals and evening shows. The show stage 

is right by the restaurant terrace with its wonderful 

view of the Woblitzsee. 

Our animation team will put on the fun. There are activities for all age groups. In 

the kids' club, programmes will be offered for three age groups. There are also 

special sports programs for youth and adults and an extensive program of events 

with excursions, tours and fun festivals. 

It’s good swimming in the Woblitzsee, but in our ecologically fi ltered swimming 

pond we have created a virtual children's paradise with a white beach and pirate 

ship.

sauna. For a cool down after the sauna you can 

plunge straight into the Woblitzsee. 

The modern and spacious rooms in the new sanitary block glow with a 

warm ambience. In the children's adventure pool our youngest guests 

are among their own kind. There are family bathrooms, a separate baby 

changing room, a pool for the for disabled and a make-up room. 

For our four-legged guests, there is a dog shower separate from the 

other facilities.

Vacation in adventure country: here children's dreams come true and the wonderful 

animation team brings out the star in you... 

Sitting around the campfi re and toasting French bread on a 

stick in the evening, taking an eerie ghost walking tour through 

the forest, being an actor, a circus performer, or perhaps the 

pirate and designing your own stage. Doing crafts, playing and 

painting for all it's worth, even if the weather is not so good ... 

And so on, and so on. 

The children's entertainment programme makes children's 

hearts beat faster. Tournaments, guessing games and competitions 

are held, sometimes without mum and dad. The canoe 

team will turn even young Havelberge guests into safe canoeists. 

Woblitzsee or the swimming pond with its sandy beach 

and pirate ship are wonderful places to swim, romp and play. 

Making friends here is certainly not hard.

The evening festivities are held on the 

big show stage. It's just off the ter- 

race of the Restaurant Havelberge. 

Take a seat, or maybe even join in. 

Our creative and sharp animation

It's all right to dance and laugh at our shows. We're happy when our guests 

are having fun and especially when they can get special enjoyment out of 

their camping evenings. Our trained animation team brings much variety, musicals, 

sketches and original shows to usher in a great mood. Anyone who 

wants can join in. Show off what you've kept hidden inside! 

Of course, there's also the popular 

game and bingo nights, competitions, 

discos, live shows and performances 

from known bands. Whether Irish folk, 

guitar sound, traditional rock blues 

and country, popular hits, whether 

from rock, pop, jazz or ballads, oldies 

and current hits – the programme put 

on by the groups engaged is diverse

Around 80 holiday homes, mo- 

bile homes and caravans for 2 to 6 

people are available for your holi- 

day with us. You'll be in park-like 

grounds, some with lake views. 

The stylish Scandinavian wooden houses with covered 

porches have room for 4-6 people. You'll stay here in 

Nordic-style comfort and some houses have views out 

over the lake. 

All houses are tastefully furnished with living room and 

bedroom, kitchen or kitchenette, dining room or dining 

area and toilet and have heating, a terrace with garden 

furniture, kitchenware and tableware. 

Most have showers, but for those that don’t our comfortable 

sanitary facilities are always available, where you’ll 

also fi nd washing machines and dryers.

Drewensee is the ideal starting point for your boating 

tours by canoe and motorboat. Thanks to an arm of the 

river Havel you can boat into an extensive area of lakes 

to both north and south. 

Our camp has responded with a large dock area with 

60 moorings and a boat rental for water explorers. Nevertheless, 

the resort is very quiet, as use of the lake 

itself is limited to the arrival and departure of the motor 

boats. 

Our sanitary facilities are comfortable. A mini-market 

and snack stand (takeaway) are also on the resort.

Leppinsee 

Arrive and breathe in and enjoy the freshness of the pine forest with every breath. The 

camp, with its natural, gently rolling terrain and forest fl oor, is directly on the Leppinsee, 

surrounded by deep pine forests, and it borders Müritz National Park. It is integrated in the 

local hiking network. Nearby is a dendrological garden.

Relaxation right by Müritz National Park 

From Leppinsee, water explorers can set 

off by canoe towards the south along a 

chain of sparkling lakes. Paddling the "water 

lily road" can take you to the ducal palace 

in Mirow. 

Toward the north is a connection to Woterfi 

tzsee and Caarpsee in the National Park 

and from there to Müritzsee, the secondlargest 

lake in Germany. 

The passenger ship to and from Mirow 

stops at the campsite. 

Thanks to the newly built access road, the 

campsite can also be reached easily by 

motorhomes. 

The modern sanitary block is equipped 

with laundry and cooking facilities.

This site is quiet and peaceful, yet with lots of variety for the whole family.

Enclosed by woods, the campsite spreads through 

a meadow and partly into a clearing right by the 

Greater Pälitzsee. Boat launches are permitted on 

the lake, which is connected to other waterbodies 

(Federal waterways). Which makes this campsite 

an ideal starting and stopover point for longer journeys 

along those waters. 

The camping site lies north of a vast forest that extends 

southwards well beyond Rheinsberg.

Camping 


on the Gr. Labussee 

The Große Labussee (Great Lake Labus) invites you to boat, canoe, swim and engage in 

many other activities in and around the water. Numerous forest lakes are easily reached 

from here. The kids can have fun with the water slide and run around on the playground, 

which is a good excuse to pick up a nice book and lean back in the shade of a tree.

Ideal for families - at the national park 

The site is located right on the outskirts of 

Zwenzow, by the Gr. Labussee. It directly borders 

Müritz National Park. The level terrain is 

covered with grass, bushes, leaf-bearing trees 

and conifers. 

The lake is a state waterway, which means motorboats 

are allowed, and it is connected to other 

lakes and rivers. 

The mini market on the site has an adjoining 

conservatory. A rustic village pub is about 150 

m away in Zwenzow. 

About 2 km away, in the middle of the forest and 

by the lake, is the Rookhus restaurant. Its cuisine 

ranks among the best in Germany. 

The excellent sanitary facilities of the campsite 

offer all the comforts you need and also offer 

some facilities for the disabled.

The camping resort on the Weißer See has everything that nature enthusiasts and camp- 

ers desire. In the sparse pine forest you can set up your "camp" and enjoy the unique

Holidays in sunny pine for est on the lake 

Right by the site is the "Natural Outdoor Pool on 

the Weißer See". Swimming, rowing or just lying 

on the beach taking in the sun, it’s all possible 

along our "little" sand beach. No motor boats 

interfere with the silence of nature here, as the 

lake is isolated from other waterbodies and motor 

boats are not allowed on it. 

There's also a lot on offer for the kids. Not only 

the beach and the great Weißer See invite them 

to run about. There's also a playground and soccer 

fi eld for them to have a good time. 

In the evening, as dusk falls, the delicious aroma 

of French bread and hot dogs grilled over a fi re 

drifts over the campsite. 

Getting together with family and friends in a relaxed 

atmosphere is the daily agenda here.

Located midway between the Useriner See and the unique forests of the Müritz National 

Park lies our centrally located campsite, a starting point for touring on the water. Both 

the clothed and nudist campsites on Useriner See invite you to a stress-free vacation. On 

the separate nudist section of the site, like-minded campers have been meeting for many 

years. Nudism is a state of mind here, not a mandatory programme.

Right in Müritz National Park 

The campsite is the only campsite right inside Müritz National 

Park. For this reason, we tread softly through the 

natural environment here. The campsite lies in a forest on 

the Useriner See. Immediately nearby there are many forest 

lakes. 

North of Useriner See begins one of the most beautiful water 

touring routes through the national park. Via Zierzsee 

the tourer reaches Görtowsee, from there they travel up the 

Havel via Blankenförde and Babke across various smaller 

lakes, and fi nally they boat into Käbelicksee, where the river 

Havel starts. 

Entrance into the campsite is through a barrier with an electronic 

card slot system. In the entrance area you'll fi nd the 

reception building with its integrated shop. The modern toilet 

block is one of the most comfortable of all the Haveltourist 

campsites. Dogs are allowed only in specifi ed areas. 

Wireless Internet is available on almost all pitches.

Free of any constraints and clothes-free is a way of life for many. Behind it stand three let- 

ters: "FKK" ('Free Body Culture'): no haste, no stress, and no dress code. Experience free- 

dom in the midst of nature.

Nudist freedom on the Rätzsee 

The nudist camping site is right 

on the banks of the Rätzsee and 

surrounded by pine forest. The terraced 

terrain is sheltered by bushes 

and trees. 

Boating jetties are available for 'water 

hikers'. The Rätzsee is joined 

up with many other water bodies. 

Next to the site lies the waterway 

that stretches via the Drosedower 

Bek to the Gobenowsee, from 

there to the Labussee and on into 

a lake district that extends all the 

way to Rheinsberg and its famous 

castle. 

Our nudist camping site is integrated 

in the local hiking network.

By canoe and bike through the Mecklenburg Lake Plateau 

Guided tours / courses / company outings 

Introductory canoe course 

Through various balance exercises and learning the steering 

strokes and smaller forms of manoeuvre, you'll be able to safely 

handle single-bladed paddles and canoes. Also includes a 

capsize exercise for the brave! 

Mondays: 7 p.m. to about 8 p.m. € 9.00 / person 

"Special-night tour" 

Setting out from the Camping Resort Havelberge (Canoe Centre), 

we begin the 1.5 hour canoe trip on the Havel. After a barbecue 

around a campfi re, we paddle back in torchlight. (Incl. 

the barbecue with sausages and soft drinks, torches, canoes, 

and tour guide) 

Wednesdays: 7.00 p.m. - 11 p.m. from€ 19.50 / person 

Bicycle-Canoe Tour 

Our canoe-bike tour takes in water and land – a winning combination 

of impressions. With the canoe we head out along 

the waterways of the Müritz National Park along the Havel to 

Blankenförde. There we swap the canoes for bikes and strike 

out on bike paths back to the Camping resort at Gr. Quassow. 

(Including bicycles, canoes, boat-bike transportation, guide. 

Participants' own bicycles can also be used)

A taster course on the dragon boat 

Team spirit is needed on a trip on our dragon boat. Filled with 

up to 22 people, we guide the 12 m long boat up the Woblitz 

along the Havel canal to Zwenzow and back. Tests of courage, 

strength, endurance (and games) await you.

Canoe Camping Card 

9 x camping on your tour through the Mecklenburg Lake 

District. If you are on the move with your own tent and canoe, 

arrange your own tour and take advantage of cheap 

overnight stays with the "Canoe Camping Card". It's valid at 

all Haveltourist camps of your choice (from 3 nights) for up 

to 2 persons. The charge for the pitch (mini tent + canoe) 

and electricity is calculated separately.

Canoe transfer in 

Müritz National Park 

We transport your canoe or our borrowed canoe to Granzin, 

one of the most beautiful areas right in the middle to 

the Müritz National Park. You can set it into the water right 

on the beach at Pagelsee and comfortably paddle about 21 

miles on your own down to the Camping Resort Havelberge. 

If you are in luck, you may spot kingfi shers and the resident 

eagles. 

(Minimum of 4 boats per transfer, passenger transport by

for a stretch....

Canoe trips through the Mecklenburg Lake District offer a wonderful close-up experience of nature. A trained counsellor (canoe guide) takes 

you by canoe through romantic waterways and crystal-clear lakes every day. You'll stop over in interesting places and spend the nights at 

Haveltourist facilities. In the evenings you can sit around the campfi re and bbq or cook together. If you are on a 'tenting' trip, you will fi nd one

1) Conclusion of the contract 

Your registration entails a binding offer to the owner (landlord) 

to conclude a rental/accommodation agreement. 

This can be done in writing, orally or via telephone. The 

agreement becomes binding on Haveltourist GmbH & Co. 

KG only once we have confi rmed it in writing. If the confi 

rmation should differ from the reservation, we shall be 

bound to this new offer for 10 days. The agreement is concluded 

on the basis of this new offer if you confi rm it within 

this period. 

This is not a tourist travel contract, as we are not a tour 

operator in the legal sense and because in the price list 

and the special offers the accommodation always forms 

the main component of the services. Other services are 

subordinate to the accommodation services. 

2 ) Payment 

a) Camping and boats 

EUR 70.00 immediately on receipt of confi rmation (within a 

week). Remainder: 14 days before arrival/commencement 

of hire. Short stays under EUR 130.00 and short-term 

bookings are to be paid in full immediately. 

b) Holiday homes / caravans 

30 % is due immediately on confi rmation. Remainder: 6 

days before arrival/commencement of hire. Short stays 

under EUR 130.00 and short-term bookings are to be paid 

in full immediately. 

c) Delay 

The due dates for payment will be printed on the confi rmation. 

We ask you to pay by these dates so as not to jeopardize 

your booking. If any of the due dates are exceeded 

by more than 7 days, the owner has an extraordinary right 

to give notice. The tenant must pay the costs in acc. with 

5)a or 5)b. 

3) Additional costs 

Please pay the extra costs and the electricity charges one 

day before departure. 

4) Rental amount 

The cost of the hire and the utilities can be found on the 

price list. We shall confi rm it in writing, and it is to be considered 

binding. Changes in the actual time of your stay 

do not reduce the confi rmed cost. If discounts are claimed, 

only the highest discount is valid. Discounts cannot be 

combined. A discount card authorised by us must be presented 

for bookings on arrival and must be an original. 

Subsequent claims on discounts are not possible. 

5) Cancellation 

a) Camping and boats 

You can cancel your booking in writing up until the booked 

date at 18:00 hrs, without giving any reasons. To avoid 

mistakes, please send via registered mail; do not phone. 

The following fees apply for cancellations: 

- up to 14 days before start of hire: € 30 

- 13 days until day of arrival up to 6 p.m.: € 60 

- after 6 p.m. the full amount shall be payable. 

Pitches that are not occupied by 11 a.m. on the day following 

the start of hire and for which no other agreement 

has been made can be used by the management at their 

discretion. This also applies to pitches that become free 

through early departure. 

In this case the owner shall keep a pitch available at another 

spot for possible later arrival or return. In the unforeseen 

case of a booked property/pitch not being available 

upon the arrival of the tenant, the tenant shall grant the 

owner an extension until 6 p.m. If the problem cannot be 

resolved within the time extension, the owner shall make 

available a substitute pitch of at least the same category. 

If the tenant is not satisfi ed with the offered substitute, he 

may withdraw from the agreement without cost. Further 

claims are excluded. Boat rentals and guided tours are 

subject to special conditions. 

b) Holiday homes / caravans for hire 

As long as the hire hasn't started you can cancel the hire 

agreement in written form at any time. To avoid mistakes, 

please send via registered mail; do not phone. Our claim 

for agreed compensation remains in force, even if you do 

not occupy the property. Grounds for non-occupancy are 

irrelevant. 

Our charge for cancellations (in % of invoiced amount) is: 

- up to 90 days before start of hire, 10%: 

- 89 to 45 days before start of hire, 30%: 

- 44 to 30 days before begin of hire, 50% 

- from the 29th day until 2 days before start of hire, 80 % 

For later cancellations or non-appearance, the entire hire 

fee must be paid. If the property hired can be sub-let on 

equal terms when the original tenant doesn't appear or 

leaves early, the tenant shall nevertheless pay a fee of 10 

% of the sub-let amount, but no less than € 60. A fee of 

€ 10.00 will be charged for changes of reservation. If the 

rented property is not available due to adverse circumstances, 

the tenant has the right to a property in at least 

the same category. If the substitute property is not satisfactory, 

the tenant may withdraw from the contract at no 

charge. Further claims are excluded. Pitches that are not 

occupied on the fi rst day following the start of hire and for 

which no other agreement has been made for later occupancy 

can be used by the campsite management at their 

discretion. 

For 5a) and 5b), the fl at-rate billing for loss of rental income 

and extra expenses incurred can be reduced if evidence 

is presented of subletting or of reduced expenses. 

We recommend holiday cancellation insurance, which can 

be bought from us or from any travel agency (European 

Travel Insurance). 

6) Special conditions 

Holiday homes/ caravans for hire 

a) A deposit of € 50 is required. Check the hired property, 

the furniture and the other items on arrival. Please give 

the hand-over report noting any existing damages to our 

service or reception personnel on the same day. We want 

to serve you well and ask you for your assistance to enable 

us to do so. 

b) Damages and lost furniture or other inventory are to be 

paid for by the tenant. The tenant is also responsible for 

the other members of his party. You can take out special 

liability insurance with us. 

c) You are responsible for regular cleaning during your 

stay. On request, this service can be booked Please pay 

attention to the following at departure: The property is to 

be left clean and in good condition. This includes: Hoovering/sweeping 

the fl oors, washing the dishes, pots and 

pans, cutlery, etc., the oven or microwave (if present) etc., 

emptying the fridge, discarding rubbish and recyclable 

materials such as glass and plastics. Return the keys before 

departure. 

We are responsible for the cleaning of: windows, doors, 

furniture, couches, wet cleaning of the fl oors and surfaces 

and the general clean-up. 

Therefore, a special post-cleaning charge per property 

depending on the residence type (as indicated in the 

price list) will be collected for each change of tenants. If 

the hand-over proves insuffi cient or if there is damage or 

missing inventory, the owner may deduct part or all of the 

deposit and even charge additional costs. This additional 

charge, if applicable, is due immediately. In case of an orderly 

return and correct settlement of all liabilities, the deposit 

will be refunded. 

Please agree on the anticipated date of handover with reception 

one day before departure. 

The return must be completed on the day of departure by 

11 a.m. 

7) Site rules 

The tenant and his fellow travellers must observe the site 

rules posted, including the rules relating to rest periods. 

Serious offences can lead to termination without notice or 

prior announcement. In that case the tenant does not have 

the right to demand reimbursement of the hire fee. 

8) Errors 

We reserve the right to correct printing, calculation and 

other errors. 

9) Visitors 

Only people who are registered have access to the site. 

Visitors must register at the reception desk. 

10) Access to the site by vehicle 

…is only allowed for those with a valid site pass. 

11) Liability 

Every guest is obliged to treat the inventory and the pitch 

with care. He is also obliged to reimburse the owner for 

any damages he may have caused. 

12) If individual items in this agreement should prove to be 

ineffective, the intent behind them shall nonetheless remain 

in force. The remaining stipulations shall continue to 

apply in any case. 

13) Legal domicile 

The legal domicile for traders, persons without legal domicile 

in Germany and for persons that may change their 

personal domicile into a foreign country after fi nalizing the 

agreement or whose domicile at the time of institution of 

legal proceedings is unknown, as well as with passive cases, 

is the seat of Haveltourist GmbH & Co. KG. 

14) Arrival and Departure 

The booked pitch/ property shall be available on the day 

of arrival at 3 p.m. and must be handed over on the day of 

departure at 11 a.m. No arrivals and departures between 1 

and 3 p.m. The barriers will remain closed! 

15) Headquarters for all campsites and rental properties 

of Haveltourist GmbH & Co. KG is the Havelberge camping 

resort in Gr. Quassow. Complaints of any nature shall 

be brought here. 

16) All payments under contracts shall be made only into 

the account cited below. 

Personal data is electronically stored for the purpose of 

administration and customer service, if needed. 

17) We reserve the right to adjust prices. 

All prices include the applicable VAT (also the increases 

in same). 

Should the city tax, tourist tax etc. be increased, we reserve 

the right to adjust our prices. (Increases of this type 

are not currently known of.) 

This is a translation of the original German contract. In 

case of discrepancy between the original and the translated 

version, the original German version takes precedence.
