May 7 - June 26<br />

A rare ch<strong>an</strong>ce <strong>to</strong> see the his<strong>to</strong>ry of Scotl<strong>an</strong>d’s national drink<br />

<strong>to</strong>ld from the treasures in the National Archives of Scotl<strong>an</strong>d.<br />

Highlights include the earliest document <strong>to</strong> mention whisky from<br />

1494 <strong>an</strong>d the book in which the dying poet Robert Burns signed<br />

for his salary as <strong>an</strong> excisem<strong>an</strong> in 1796. The exhibition will be<br />

accomp<strong>an</strong>ied by specially-lo<strong>an</strong>ed objects relating <strong>to</strong> the his<strong>to</strong>ry<br />

of Scotch <strong>Whisky</strong>.<br />
