Comments 

Performance was very good with 98.4% of participants reporting correct results. 

Specimen 0338 was a negative specimen. Of the 171 participants responding 166 (97.1%) reported a negative result, 2 (1.17%) reported an equivocal result and 3 

(1.75%) reported a positive result. 

Specimens 0339, 0340 and 0341 were strong positives. Where participants used quantitative assays the following ranges of results were reported: 

Specimen 0338: Siemens Enzygnost: 39-150 mIU/mL, median 85 IU/mL; Virion: 81-800 mIU/mL, median 110 IU/mL.
