PROJECT E-LEARNING<br />

The use <strong>of</strong> digital technologies in the learning process is<br />

essential in the context <strong>of</strong> the curriculum. Digital technologies<br />

not only increase the availability <strong>of</strong> up-to-date teaching<br />

contents, they also make organisation, communication and<br />

learning in teams more fl exible.<br />

E-Learning means learning with the aid <strong>of</strong> internet and<br />

computer: it allows increase <strong>of</strong> knowledge at an individual<br />

learning speed, which is a desireable prerequisite<br />

for improved learning. The faculty <strong>of</strong> Media and<br />

Information develops technologies for highly interactive<br />

and mobile use, examines didactic applications and<br />

designs formal aspects based on the principle <strong>of</strong> usability<br />

while keeping in mind relevant target groups. In<br />

addition, the faculty operates a learning-management<br />

platform, produces learning contents and carries out<br />

practice orientated studies.<br />
