ENGLISH LANGUAGE MASTER DEGREE COURSES
FOR A GLOBAL EMPLOYMENT MARKET
One of the leading motifs of the University of Applied Sciences
Offenburg is the international orientation. A look

In four degree programs, an application oriented
academic education is offered in the areas of Information
Technology, Energy Technology and Management:
Communication and Media Engineering (M.Sc.)
Energy Conversion and Management (M.Sc.)
International Business Consulting (MBA)
Master of Process Engineering (M.Sc.)
Bilateral degree programs with France, Switzerland and
Chile are also available. Target groups are German as well
as international students with above average qualifi cations
and/or excellent fi rst degrees. Students receive a fi rst class
education preparing them for a global market in their chosen
fi eld of study as engineers and business managers.
Today many graduates work in positions of high responsibility
both in Germany and in international companies. Intercultural
competence at our university is not just a sound
byte, but a real skill acquired in the classroom.
ADMINISTRATION AND SERVICE IN COMPETENT HANDS
The Graduate School co-ordinates activities such as contacts
with companies, international marketing for the university,
application and admissions procedures, interdisciplinary
lectures, support for international students, co-operation,
international alumni projects, quality aspects as well as
examination questions.
One of the most important goals of the Graduate School is
to foster contacts outside of the lecture hall. A motivated
team supports students in the process of settling into their
new place of study. The Graduate School also organizes
social and cultural activities like excursions and international
events.
Clearly, the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg with
the international degree programs has become one of the
most popular universities for international students in Germany.
This can be verifi ed by the large number of projects
supported and awarded by the German Academic
Exchange Service (DAAD). Recently, the Master program
”Communication and Media Engineering” was chosen
among the TOP 10 and recognized by the DAAD and the
foundation for German Sciences (Stifterverband für die
Deutsche Wissenschaft) as one of the most innovative
Mas ter programs in Germany.
