Merohedral Twin<br />
• Twin law: symmetry opera<strong>to</strong>r of the<br />
crystal system but not of the point<br />
group of the crystal<br />
• Possible in tetragonal, trigonal,<br />
hexagonal and cubic crystal<br />
systems<br />
• Exact overlap of reciprocal lattices<br />
• Often low value for E-Value<br />
statistics<br />
• Laue group and space group<br />
determination may be difficult<br />
• Structure solution may be difficult<br />
