BETALINK K2 is a two part polyurethane adhesive with high elongation and fast
speed curing at room temperature.
BETALINK K2 is a medium strength and elastic adhesive for plastic, composites and
paints and can be bonded to themselves or in combination. BETALINK K2 is an
adhesive for spoiler-bonding applications and is for this application
TÜV-approved.
All Dow Automotive products are primarily developed in co-ordination with the automobile
manufacturers, according to their needs and their specifications; they are approved for the specific
applications as defined by the customer.
The use of the product other than approved application have to be released in writing by the Technical
Service of Dow Automotive.

Chemical Resistance Good against aqueous chemicals, gasoline and alcohol.
Fairly good against esters, ketones, aromatics and
chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Surfaces Preparation All surfaces must be free from dirt, dust, grease and oil. First
abrade the surface, then clean with Betaclean 3350 and
prime with the appropriate primer. BETAPRIME paint/plastic,
BETAPRIME glass, BETAPRIME Special plastic. Preliminary
tests are recommended.

Caution: Do not use alcohol or nitrocellulose thinner.
Containers Set of 2 x 80 ml and 2 x 300 ml
Application Use the BETAMIX for applying BETALINK K2 (Set of 2 x 40
ml and 2 x 80 ml ).
Use the BETAPOWER II for applying BETALINK K2, 2 x 290
ml.
Please observe instructions.
Cleaning Uncured BETALINK K2 can be removed with BETACLEAN
Spoiler. Cured BETALINK K2 can only be removed
mechanically. Immerse tools in BETACLEAN Spoiler.
Shelf Life
Safety Precautions
12 months for BETALINK K2 at +5°C to +25°C, in unopened
containers.

Attention: For the application of BL K2 with our primer
system please remark:
The open time of the primer is approx. 30 sec. to 10
Min. max at 23°C / 50% r.h. After the open time the
primer has to be reactivated!
