During the UN Global Road Safety Week (April 23~29, 2007) as a member of United Nations Global<br />

Compact, we also undertook a number of other activities. These included the 1st National Road Safety<br />

Conference which was organized with the help of Sindh Education Foundation on April 24, 2007. With<br />

participation of about 500 people, the conference aimed at initiating a dialogue with different stakeholders on<br />

road safety issues and developing<br />

recommendations through five working<br />

sessions on Corporate Sector,<br />

Engineering Sector, Health Sector,<br />

Education Sector and Road Traffic<br />

System.<br />

To encourage auto journalism in<br />

Pakistan and to develop<br />

professionalism and capacity building<br />

in the field of Auto Journalism, we held<br />

Pakistan's First National Auto<br />

Journalists Workshop on May 29,<br />

2007. The workshop was conducted by<br />

an international expert on Auto<br />

Journalism. We announced the launch<br />

of the National Auto Journalists Annual<br />

Award at the event.<br />

IMC is a major promoter of sports and during the year sponsored a number of sporting events across Pakistan.<br />
