Gordon C. Nagayama Hall
Gordon C. Nagayama Hall was a faculty member in Psychology
from 1988-98. He was a faculty member in Psychology at Penn
State University from 1998-2001 and then became a faculty
member in Psychology at the University of Oregon in 2001. His
research is on the cultural context of psychopathology,
particularly sexual aggression. He is Editor of Cultural Diversity
and Ethnic Minority Psychology and Associate Editor of the
Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology.
Gordon celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with Jeanne in
2004. His children are Jackie (12 years old), Kashi (9), and Koko
(8).
Memories:
Gordon Nagayama Hall has fond memories of Kent State, including refreshing Richard
Hirschman’s memory, lunches in the Riccio-Hirschman suite, faculty-student softball games, 4th
of July parties at the Treichlers’, Halloween costume parties, singing phone answering machine
messages, and working with great students.
