Foreword<br />
> In February and March 2010, <strong>Roland</strong> <strong>Berger</strong> Strategy Consultants conducted a<br />
study of trends in restructuring for the sixth time since 2001. In addition to this study<br />
there will be an international study which will be presented in May<br />
> In Germany, executives and directors of approx. 800 companies from different<br />
industries were surveyed, with a response rate of approx. 14%<br />
> The aim of the study was to find out how strongly and in which areas the crisis is still<br />
affecting companies in 2010 and what managers view as the opportunities in the<br />
upcoming recovery<br />
> These results were compared with those of previous studies in order to make<br />
statements on general trends<br />
