katherine bragg is the <strong>re</strong>cipient <strong>of</strong> both the Tom Fox and the Ruth F. Meyers Weinberg<br />

scholarships. She is involved in Parsons’ Target collaboration, has interned with<br />

Tsao and McKown Architects, and is cur<strong>re</strong>ntly interning with <strong>interior</strong> <strong>design</strong>er<br />

Danielle Galland. In December 2006 she <strong>re</strong>ceived the Rising Star Award at the<br />

Women in Design Award Luncheon.<br />

martina sencakova is the <strong>re</strong>cipient <strong>of</strong> the Adelaide Gadde Scholarship. She is a junior<br />

studying commercial <strong>interior</strong> <strong>design</strong>, and is eyeing a futu<strong>re</strong> in the healthca<strong>re</strong> industry.<br />

laura cheung <strong>re</strong>ceived the Brunschwig & Fils Scholarship, which allowed her to<br />

study in Paris. She is a senior graduating in May.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Gift <strong>of</strong> Education<br />

Parsons <strong>The</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>School</strong> for Design <strong>re</strong>lies on the generosity<br />

<strong>of</strong> dedicated individuals and organizations to provide students<br />

with merit- and need-based competitive scholarships to pursue<br />

their educations. <strong>The</strong> gift <strong>of</strong> endowed scholarship support is a<br />

wonderful way to have a lasting imp<strong>re</strong>ssion on the lives <strong>of</strong> stu-<br />

dents and c<strong>re</strong>ate a legacy that lives on for many years.<br />

We a<strong>re</strong> pleased to announce that two Parsons students we<strong>re</strong> selected to <strong>re</strong>ceive the p<strong>re</strong>stigious<br />

full-tuition scholarship supported by the Angelo Donghia Foundation. <strong>School</strong>s may submit<br />

only two students for consideration, and out <strong>of</strong> 80-plus candidates across the country, both <strong>of</strong><br />

Parsons’ entrants, paula rodriguez and ling-zhi hew, won.<br />
