Ecopassiv in the UK’s first cavity wall Passivhaus 

Ecopassiv windows & doors were specified for our flagship Denby Dale 

Passivhaus project, as a cost-effective high performance option. 

Ecopassiv’s low U values and insulated frame made a big contribution to the 

thermal performance of the project in Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP). 

The windows were positioned carefully within plywood boxes within the cavity 

wall insulation to reduce thermal bridging to a minimum.
