• In built-up areas: 50 km/h
• On main roads: 90 km/h or 110 km/h
depending on the traffic signs (cars and
motorhomes weighing less than 3,5 t;
trailers and caravans of which the weight
does not exceed that of the car towing
them) / 80 km/h (with a caravan or trailer
more than 3,5 t)
• Motorways: 130 km/h / 90 km/h
Most motorways have tolls.
It is compulsory to carry a warning triangle,
reflective jacket and breathalyser in all
vehicles.
Tolerated blood alcohol level: 0,5g/litre
of blood.
