St. Cloud Go Kart Patrol St. Cloud Zagalas Greetings to all Wow!! What a great parade season, it feels good to be a Noble of the mystic Shrine... plans are already underway to have an Mike Yankevec even better year for 2013. Some things to look forward to: new designed Kart plaques, new motor's(?), fresh new members with innovative ways to help support our mission as Shriners (the kids), more great events, parades and fellowship. Our next stated meeting is October 18th; I would welcome all wives, friends, Michael's on Hwy. 10 in St. Cloud. Social starts at 6 and meal and stated meeting starting at 6:30. Remember to bring and wear your Fez proudly if you have one. This is the place where your voice and vote can help shape the future of our great organization. We support the St. Cloud Area Shrine Club annual holiday party this December 14th at Sartell's Westside Event and Learning Center. Be sure to keep your calendar open for that date. We just finished a great cruise out to St. Anna and dinner at the Landing (A side note, the ribs are great there!). Pete Kloskowski and Lady Delores, Dan Mueller and PP Roger Lady Sharon, John Robinson Asplund and Lady Sue, Marv Felderman and Lady Lana, P.P. Jerry Plachecki and I all made the trip (though Noble Dan and Sharon were the only ones gutsy enough to go with the top down on the car). I apologize for the date error on the postcard; I do hope the members who potential Brothers or Nobles to attend at showed up on the 17th can join us on our next tour. A big thanks to Secretary/ Provost Treasurer Marv for putting the trip together and remembering which way to turn. BIG TENT EVENT Osman SINCE 1886 Shrine Saturday, December 8 Minneapolis Scottish Rite & Osman Shrine Event Center Grand Master Brian Beermann along with Osman Potentate Frank Spevak and Zuhrah Potentate Tony Krall invite you to a full day devoted to Masonry and the Shrine. The morning will witness a Third Degree the likes of which has never been experienced in Minnesota. The afternoon will showcase the Shrine in all its splendor with a very special, open Shrine Ceremonial. These events take place at the Minneapolis Scottish Rite. The evening’s festivities move to the Osman Shrine Center with an All Masonic Holiday Party, including Osman’s Parade to Glory. Any Lodge is encouraged to bring any Fellowcraft Mason to the Degree. They must have been proven proficient on the Fellowcraft Degree prior to December 8th, and accompanied by a Mentor from Lodge. There is no fee to participate, but a candidate must pay any regular Degree fees to the Lodge. Lunch is paid for candidates, $15 for visitors. If you would like to go to the All-Masonic Dinner Party that night at the new Osman Shrine Center, but are not in the Shrine ceremonial class, the cost at Osman will be $25.00. All candidates in this Third Degree are eligible to be a part of the Shrine Ceremonial (as are others not yet in the Shrine), but the degree is open to all including those who prefer not to join the Shrine at this time. To register a candidate for the Shrine Ceremonial, call the Shrine Center directly (see green box at right). Cost of the ceremonial is $150, and includes Fez and 2013 dues. This is a great time for ALL Masons to become Shrine Nobles. We are going to have a fun and memorable day! COME AND JOIN IN THE FUN! Tentative Schedule 7:30 am Registration begins at Minneapolis Scottish Rite. 7:30 am Bus leaves Osman Event Center with Masonic Third Degree Candidates. 8:30 am Third Degree begins. 10:00 am Short Break 10:15 am First part of 2nd section. Noon Lunch and short program. Cost of lunch for candidates paid for by Grand Lodge, All visitors $15. 1:00 pm Final part of 2nd section and lectures. 2:15 pm Bus from Osman Shrine Center to Minneapolis Scottish Rite. 2:30 pm Shrine Ceremonial Registration 3:00 pm Open Shrine Ceremonial Orientation and Program 4:30 pm Bus to Osman for Social 6:30 pm All-Masonic Dinner at Osman Shrine Center. $25 per person; Candidates and Ladies from the ceremonial are free. 7:30 pm Short Program: Frank Spevak, Potentate, Osman Shrine Tony Krall, Potentate, Zuhrah Shrine Brian Beermann, Grand Master 8:00-???
