Jubiläumsfeier «25 Jahre RMS»
Celebration of the 25 th anniversary of the RMS
25 Jahre nach der Gründung durch Dr. h. c.
Robert Mathys durfte die nach ihm benannte,
heute RMS Foundation genannte Stiftung im
März 2010 ihren Geburtstag mit einem Fachseminar
und Festakt begehen. Das Jubiläum
«25 Jahre RMS» wurde im Kreise der Stifterfamilien
Mathys und Marzo, der Mitarbeitenden,
des Stiftungsrates, des Wissenschaftlichen
Rates sowie Forschungspartnern und langjährigen
Kunden begangen.
Das Tagesseminar mit 14 Fachreferaten über
Themen aus Orthopädie, Traumatologie und
Zahnimplantologie sowie von Biomechanik
über Biomaterialien bis Biologie aus den
Reihen der Mitglieder des Wissenschaftlichen
Rates und der Gruppenleiter der RMS ermöglichte
einen Rückblick auf ausgewählte Aktivitäten
und Forschungsprojekte aus der RMS
und der Zusammenarbeit mit ihren Partnern.
Natürlich wurden auch neue Fragestellungen
aufgegriffen, die in Zukunft einer Lösung
bedürfen und in die sich die RMS einbringen
kann. Nach der Präsentation der Geschichte
und der heutigen RMS durch den Stiftungsratspräsidenten
respektive den Geschäftsführer
folgte der eigentliche Höhepunkt und Start
des offiziellen Festaktes mit der Grussbotschaft
durch die Solothurner Regierungsrätin Frau
Esther Gassler.
Der Abend stand dann im Zeichen der Mitarbeitenden
mit Partnerinnen und Partnern
sowie der geladenen Gäste. Mit einem ausgedehnten
Apéro wurde zum Abendessen
mit gemütlichem Gedankenaustausch und
Beisammensein gestartet. Begleitet wurde
der ganze Abend durch humoristische Zaubernummern
eines auch als Kellner aktiven
Komikers.
In March 2010, 25 years after Dr Robert
Mathys created the foundation named after
him, today’s RMS Foundation celebrated its
anniversary with a seminar and a ceremonial
act. The founder families Mathys and Marzo,
the employees, the board of trustees, the scientific
committee as well as the research partners
and customers of long standing celebrated the
«25 years of RMS» jubilee.
The day seminar included 14 professional
presentations on subjects such as orthopedics,
traumatology, dental implantology as well as
biomechanics and biomaterials as far as biology.
The members of the scientific committee
and group leaders of the RMS provided ret-
RMS Report edition 2012 – General
rospection on selected activities and research
projects of the RMS as well as collaborations
with its partners. Needless to say, also new
questions were picked up that might require
a solution in the future and possibly the cooperation
of the RMS. The real highlight and
start of the official ceremonial act was the
greeting speech by the Solothurn Cantonal
Council Mrs Esther Gassler. She had her say
after the presentation of the history and today’s
RMS by the president of the board and the
managing director respectively.
The evening was under the sign of the employees
with partners as well as of the invited
guests. A protracted aperitif heralded the
dinner with informal exchanges of ideas and
social gathering. A comedian who was also
active as waiter accompanied the evening with
his humoristic magic tricks.
