The Community Foundation for the Ohio
Valley serves as the philanthropic partner
for all who want to give back in the Upper
Ohio Valley, connecting donors who care
with causes that matter. For good. Forever.
In 2011 the Foundation and its 140 plus component funds
made 226 distributions of $940,335 in grants and
scholarships. This total includes grant recommendations from
fundholders, distributions to nonprofit organizations through
agency funds, and awards from competitive grants managed by
the Foundation's staff.
