Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Kehoe, followed by the Pledge of
Allegiance to the flag.
NOTICE OF MEETING
Notice of this meeting was provided to the Gloucester County Times and to the Clerks
of the governing bodies and filed as required by the Open Public Meetings Law.

VISITORS
Mike Schutte-Resident of Mickleton addressed the Board of Education concerning his
daughter being assigned more than one seat on the bus. Mr. Kehoe explained the
provision of the Board Policy and the administrative reasons why his request wasn’t
possible.

Motion by Boerlin, second by Lewis that the Board of Education approve the following

EXECUTIVE SESSION - PERSONNEL
Motion by Lewis, second by Blackburn, that the Board of Education authorize a meeting
closed to the public at 8:20 p.m., for the purpose of Personnel for approximately one
hour.

PERSONNEL AGENDA
Motion by Cole, second by Blackburn, that the Board of Education approve the following
as per the Superintendent’s recommendation:
RESIGNATION OF HIGH SCHOOL FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Accepted the resignation of Mrs. Barbara Cooper, as a High School Food Service
Worker, effective September 7, 2010. (Mrs. Cooper is continuing her career in nursing)
TERMINATION OF BUS DRIVER
Terminated Lorraine Litle, as a bus driver, effective September 7, 2010 for
abandonment of position.
FAMILY LEAVE FOR HIGH SCHOOL PHYSICAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION
TEACHER
Approved a Family Leave for Mr. Brent Dodulik, High School Physical and Health
Education teacher, effective approximately October 12, 2010 for three (3) weeks.
He will be utilizing his personal illness days.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHEDULE “B” PROGRAMS
Approved the folowing Middle School Schedule “B” programs:
��After School Academic Tutoring Program (495 hours)
��After School Wellness Activities (flag football, field hockey, basketball,
volleyball, track and field)
Funding for these programs will come from a combination of budgeted funds,
student activity funds and grant money received from Exxon Mobil.
UNPAID VOLUNTEERS FOR 2010-2011
Approved the following unpaid volunteers for 2010-2011:

ADDITIONAL STAFF WORKERS FOR 2010-2011
Approved the following additional staff workers for 2010-2011 at the following rates of
pay:

Kathy Gallen –Crowd Control & Gate - $14.00/hr.
STIPENDS FOR EXTRA DUTY
Approved the stipends for the following teachers:
Ed Heil - $750.00
Sarah Ianacone - $150.00
These stipends are per the contract for an extra duty.
OVER BUDGET SUMMER WORK HOURS FOR GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT
Approved the following over budget summer work hours for the Guidance Department

BUS DRIVERS HOURLY RATE CORRECTION
Approved the hourly rate changes for the bus drivers listed below. They were approved
in July at $24.11, the rate should have been $22.11.

STUDENT WORKER EXTENDED EMPLOYMENT
Approved an additional two (2) weeks for student worker, Joseph DeSantis. He will be
working with the Technology Department until September 15, 2010.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
Approved Christine Cassaday, Natalie Blasco, Louis Omiatek, Jason D. Behringer,
William Wilson, Tracy L. Fagan and Jillian DiAmicis, as substitute teachers for the 2010-
2011 school year, effective September 16, 2010 through June 30, 2011, at the rate of
$70.00 per day, $85.00 per day after 20 days, which do not have to be consecutive.
SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS/BUS AIDES FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
Approved the following substitute bus drivers/bus aides for the 2010-2011 school year,
effective September 16, 2010 through June 30, 2011, at the following rate:

APPOINTMENT OF HIGH SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Approved the appointment of Robert Dacierno as a High School Special Education
teacher, effective TBD to June 30, 2011, at step/level MA/1 and salary of $46,838.00.
CHANGE IN START DATE FOR HIGH SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Approved the change in start date for Manga Nalla as a High School Special Education
teacher, from September 1, 2010 to November 15, 2010 through June 30, 2011, at
step/level MA/7 and pro-rated salary of $55,035.00.
CHANGE IN START DATE FOR HIGH SCHOOL MATERNITY LEAVE
MATHEMATICS TEACHER
Approved the change in start date for Ryan O’Neil as a substitute High School
mathematics teacher for a maternity leave from September 8, 2010 to September 7,
2010.
