health, safety and wellness are always a top
priority at March of dimes. we launched new
wellness initiatives and reduced our workplace
accidents by 26% compared to the previous year.
we received a workplace safety & insurance board
(wsib) new experimental experience rating (neer)
rebate of $108,171. The neer Program rewards
employers whose injury/illness performance is
better than expected for the industry. The effective
management of our employee benefits program led
to our rates being frozen for the next fiscal year. a
significant accomplishment in these times of ever
increasing health costs.
