The Sports and Entertainment Management (SEM)<br />
program provides a range <strong>of</strong> opportunities for<br />
students include industry-specific internships.<br />
Some <strong>of</strong> the companies where former students<br />
have interned include the Broncos Football Club,<br />
Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, United States<br />
Olympic Committee, and Anschutz Entertainment<br />
Group. These hands-on experiences help ensure<br />
that what is taught in the classroom translates to<br />
the stadium, theater or concert hall.<br />

Vocal artists, top Olympians and all-star athletes are<br />
made in <strong>Colorado</strong>. As a top-20 media market, the<br />
Rocky Mountain region is growing in prominence in<br />
the sports and entertainment fields, and companies<br />

lonDon calling<br />
The SEM program <strong>of</strong>fers unique ways for you to put your education into action. The London Calling<br />
travel-study program is a Maymester elective that provides students with a first-hand look at global<br />
sports and entertainment through site visits in London. Participants in this two-week course will visit<br />
UK’s top sports facilities, including Arsenal FC, Premier League, 2012 Olympics Committee, O2 Arena,<br />
Twickenham, Lord’s Cricket Ground, Wimbeldon, and the BBC.<br />
The Business School at CU <strong>Denver</strong> has earned accreditation by the Association to Advance<br />
Collegiate Schools <strong>of</strong> Business (AACSB International). This elite distinction is only granted to<br />
