GENERAL INFORMATION<br />

AND MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS<br />

The mechanism of the RUGER ® NEW MODEL SINGLE-SIX* differs<br />

significantly from that of any other single action revolver. The information and<br />

instructions which follow apply only to the New Model <strong>Single</strong> <strong>Six</strong>* revolver.<br />

The RUGER ® SINGLE-TEN ® revolver has many of the features of the New<br />

Model <strong>Single</strong> <strong>Six</strong> revolvers with the exception of the 10-shot cylinder, and the<br />

Williams Adjustable Fiber Optic Sights.<br />

*In this manual the words SINGLE-SIX ® refer to the RUGER SINGLE-TEN ® ,<br />

NEW MODEL SINGLE-SIX ® and HUNTER revolvers in calibers .17 HMR, .22LR,<br />

and .22 WMR which all utilize the same Ruger New Model mechanism.<br />
