Jackson Hall 

The 1,801 seat Jackson Hall is designed for events of various sizes and 

should feel intimate regardless of audience size. The levels of the theater 

have separate lighting controls and access points allowing sections to be 

closed off if not needed. There are 1,106 Orchestra Level, 341 Grand Tier 

and 354 Upper Tier seats. 

There is an adjustable music shell to surround an orchestra during symphonic 

and musical performances, affording rich, textured sound. The shell slides 

away during theatrical performances, expanding the area of the stage and 

adjusting to the acoustical needs of individual productions. 

Jackson Hall comes equipped with a state 

of the art lighting and sound system, and 

the ability to vary the acoustical character 

of the room. The placement of acoustical 

curtains make it possible to “tune the room” 

to suit the performance by controlling 

reverberation, shaping dialogue and speech, 

and allowing desirable sounds to resonate.

The loading dock is located on the west end of the building just off Old Davis Road (Arboretum Drive). The loading dock is 

at stage level with two (2) dock levelers. It can accommodate up to three full size trailer units simultaneously. Equipment 

may be ramped from ground to stage level if necessary. Set and Crate storage is located just off the loading dock. 

No shore power, limited water hookup.
