The clinic is open every Monday from 5pm–8pm and is located at 505 East 70th Street and is<br />
staffed by numerous student volunteers and a volunteer attending physician each week.<br />
Students coordinate every aspect of the clinic administration including patient care under the<br />
supervision of an attending physician, patient and physician recruitment, clinic finances,<br />
grant writing, fundraising, referrals to specialty services, pharmacy services, quality<br />
assurance, and maintenance of the clinic’s website (http://wccc.med.cornell.edu/).<br />
During the <strong>2010</strong>-<strong>2011</strong> academic year, the WCCC provided patients with social work and<br />
mental health service where it is determined appropriate and hosted a community outreach<br />
program to screen for cardiovascular disease and diabetes in underserved neighborhoods<br />
called “WCCC Heart-to-Heart Outreach Campaign”.<br />
