Dartmouth Skiing 20 13 Chip Knight Director of Skiing, Women’s Alpine Coach Howard.Knight@Dartmouth.edu Chip is beginning his third year with the Dartmouth Ski Team. A three-time Olympian and 13-year member of the U.S. Ski Team, Chip brings his passion for the sport and his experience as an athlete at the World Cup level to the collegiate ranks. After retiring from racing in 2006, he returned to Williams College to finish his undergraduate degree and simultaneously served as Assistant Alpine Coach. While there, he was drawn to the challenge of teaching and motivating athletes to compete at their best. After graduation, he returned to his home program in Stowe, Vermont, where he worked at the junior level as Head J2 Coach and Alpine Director at the Mount Mansfield Ski Club. Now at Dartmouth, he enjoys the opportunity to foster individual development while pursuing competitive success as a team at the NCAA level. Chip and his wife Marina live with their son Cedar in Hanover, New Hampshire. Kristina Trygstad-Saari ‘07 Interim Assistant Cross Country Coach Kristina.L.A.Trygstad-Saari.07@Dartmouth.edu Kristina returns to Dartmouth after spending the past five years in Bozeman, MT racing and coaching for the Bridger Ski Foundation. Before attending college at Dartmouth, Kristina was a nine-time Junior National Champion and three-time World Junior Team qualifier, and raced her first World Cup at age 16. Her 6 th place World Junior Championship distance race result is the best ever for the United States. Kristina competed for Dartmouth during the 2006 and 2007 seasons and was on the 2006 NCAA team. After graduating, she went on to race nationally and internationally, skiing on the Saab-Salomon Factory Team and for BSF. She had top-five National Championship results, multiple Super Tour wins, and pre-Olympic World Cup starts. After retiring from racing in 2010, Kristina began coaching junior and master skiers. She is excited to bring her experience and dedication to the sport to the Dartmouth Ski Team. Cami Thompson Graves Interim Head Cross Country Coach Cami.L.Thompson.Graves@Dartmouth.edu Cami is ready to go for another season with the Big Green skiers! While a competitor herself, she was a multi-sport athlete who excelled in three event skiing in Stowe, Vermont. Later she went on to become an All-American skier for St. Lawrence University. Upon graduation she had several breakthrough seasons in the mid-1980's and was named to the U.S. Ski Team. She highlighted that by skiing on the USA's 1985 FIS World Championship Team in Seefeld, Austria as well as racing World Cup events while on the U.S. Ski Team from 1985-87. Following her own competitive career, Cami went on to coach with teams ranging from Junior Olympic squads to international U.S. Ski Team trips. She is also a FIS Technical Delegate and a member of the NENSA Board of Directors and the NCAA Skiing Rules Committee. She has been recognized by St. Lawrence University as a member of their Athletic Hall of Fame, has received the SkiNH Al Merrill Award and has been honored as EISA Coach of the Year three times. Cami is married to Peter Graves and they live, with daughter Sophie, in East Thetford, Vermont. Peter Dodge ’78 Men’s Alpine Coach Peter.D.Dodge@Dartmouth.edu A member of the Dartmouth Class of 1978, Peter Dodge is a former member of the U.S. Ski Team and a professional ski tour champion. He returned to Dartmouth in 1989 to begin his coaching career. He has been active in national and international skiing, currently serving as the collegiate representative on the Eastern USSA Development Committee, the National USSA Development Working Group and Quotas committee and the Winter World University Games selection committee. Peter served as President of the EISA for seven years. He is a twotime recipient of the EISA Coach of the Year Award and was chosen as the USSA Domestic Coach of the Year in 1999 and the USSA Development Coach of the Year in 2005. Ed Hauck Alpine Assistant Ed.Hauck@Dartmouth.edu Ski Team Staff Ed has more than 20 years experience as a coach and alpine official. Ed previously served as a head coach of the Mt. Snow junior racing program. As head coach of the Colby Sawyer College Ski Team, he led the team to consecutive trips to the USCSA National Championships where the men’s & women’s squads finished in the top three in the giant slalom and slalom events. Hauck has a degree in physical education coaching from Southern Connecticut State University. He lives in New London, New Hampshire, where he also works as a building contractor.

The loss of Sophie Caldwell ‘12, Erika Flowers ’12 and Steph Crocker ’12 will be felt but newcomers Corey Stock '16, Mary O'Connell '16 and Haley Piske '16 are hoping to fill their shoes. Leading the team will be Annie Hart '14, fresh off her All- American performances last season. Proven Carnival scorers Isabel Caldwell '14 and Carly Wynn '15 are looking strong and hoping to move up the rankings. And not to be forgotten, there is a strong group training hard and vying for those precious Varsity spots including Captain, Megan Killigrew '13, Emily Blackmer '13, Natalie Flowers '14, Michaela Frias '15, and Molly Siegel ’16 among others.
