David Garcia is the founder, president,
and chief executive of NMR Consulting.
His strategic leadership assures NMR
accomplishes its mission and vision,
remains accountable and stays relevant
to the industry. Mr. Garcia promotes a culture that reflects the company’s values of
integrity and efficiency by encouraging superior performance and rewarding
productivity.
For more than 20 years, David Garcia has worked in both technical and management
roles in the high-tech arena. He holds a Bachelors’ of Science in Political Science from
the University of the State of New York in Albany. Following active duty with the U.S.
Army, Mr. Garcia joined Keane Consulting. His tenure with Keane reinforced the
project management skills he learned in the military, and included experience in
contracting and consulting.
Mr. Garcia later served as the Chief of Telecommunications with the U.S. Army Center
for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine, now the U.S. Army Public Health
Command. His experience both here and at Keane provided Garcia with tremendous
mentorship. In working directly with the government, Mr. Garcia recognized a need in
the contracting industry for better customer service and more fulfilled employees -- it
was at this point that the idea for NMR was born.
In 1996, David Garcia founded Network Management Resources, Inc., with a vision to
provide high quality networking and information technology services to the government
while providing employees with a challenging and rewarding work environment. He
started with just $1,000 and two employees working from his basement. In those early
days, the skills and traits he honed in the U.S. Army helped drive the company onward:
discipline, persistence, and tenacity -- all of which encouraged him to keep moving
forward in the face of adversity.
In 2005, Network Management Resources, Inc. officially changed its name to NMR
Consulting; this change represented the company’s expanded service offerings. New
business lines and a diversified customer base altered the company’s focus and increased
revenues; the company has continued to experience double-digit revenue growth each
year.
Today NMR has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the nation's fastest-growing
private companies (Inc. 500, Inc. 5000), and by Hispanic Business Magazine as one of the
country's 500 largest Hispanic-owned firms by revenue, and 100 fastest growing by

evenue growth. NMR has also received numerous local accolades, including the
prestigious Deloitte’s “Technology Fast 50,” which lists the fastest growing technology
firms in the state.
As NMR Consulting continues to grow and develop, David Garcia’s vision for it remains
the same: To be the company others strive to be -- a place that attracts and retains
exceptional people, as well as a business with which partners and clients enjoy working.
Under his leadership, the success and growth experienced over the past 15 years is
expected to continue for many more years to come.
