Raven the Ravens will be hitting the road again
road trip Stops this year, so don’t miss out on reuniting
with your fellow alumni.
Where have you been?
as the school continues to celebrate its 50th
anniversary this year, we want to make sure
that we are keeping all of our alumni in the
loop. there are a lot of exciting things going
on at your alma mater and we’d hate for you
to miss them. Please fill out this form to

With graduates spread throughout the
country, we’ll be giving you a chance to
meet up with each other outside of the
NyC area. you’ll have the chance to find
out what fellow graduates live in your area
and to trade stories and memories from
your days at St. Raymond high School.
the first road trip that we will be planning
on Saturday, September 25, ten St. Raymond high School students
were among the 350 people that participated in the final
Damian Meehan Memorial 5K run and walk at monroe-Woodbury
high School in monroe, Ny. the students were joined at the
ninth annual event by Brother Richard Galvin, FSC ’82 and Mr.
Christopher Ellis. damian meehan was a firefighter who graduated
from St. Raymond in 1987, and lost his life on September
11, 2001.
damian’s family created a foundation in his name to provide financial
aid to students in need. Since the foundation’s inception,
St. Raymond students have been honored by receiving these
scholarship awards. this year, seven deserving students received
scholarships from the foundation. many of these scholarship winners
participated in the race and were able to thank the meehan
family in person. members of the St. Raymond soccer team also
attended. Congratulations to Christian Asiedu ‘11 for finishing
second in the 13-19 age group with a time of 22:40 and to mr. Ellis
for finishing third in the 20-29 age group with a time of 20:04.
is in January for alumni in the Miami/Fort
Lauderdale area, to be held at the miami
City Club. We will also be returning to Florida
in mid-march for a trip to tampa. other
potential road trip destinations for the
school year are North Carolina, Philadelphia,
Washington d.C. and New Jersey.
