This variety has much of the grace and elegant of the beautiful
'Windflower'.
Its flowers are held on long slender, quite upright stems and nod gracefully
to give a most pleasing affect.
They are loosely cupped and semi-double, their colour being a lovely
deep yellow.
A superb and very healthy garden shrub that associates beautifully with
other plants.
There is a strong, delicious scent reminiscent of orange blossom.
CARIAD (Auspanier)

A new large, airy shrub rose with dainty, grey-green foliage.
The flowers, which are held on long thin, wiry stems, are a soft rose
pink and semi-double in form.
They open to provide us with an almost camellia-like bloom which is
most pleasing.
Early in the summer the fragrance is myrrh with a touch of tea at the
bud stage, becoming a spicy musk when open. Later in the season the
musky scent of the stamens is more in
evidence, with elements of orange peel and almonds.
An ideal garen shrub that will mingle naturally with other plants in the mixed border.
Disease resistance is excellent.
The name 'Cariad' is Welsh for 'Love'

Another beautiful David Austin rose.
The blooms come in various shades of apricot on a tall upright plant.
This one is loved by flower arrangers.
Needs severe pruning to stop it becoming too leggy.

Bred by David Austin and named in honour of his father.
Also known as 'Charming Apricot'
