Children’s Universal Language Orchestra
The Spring Valley Children’s Universal Language Orchestra
is a collaborative project focusing on creative
expression through music and the related arts. Doctoral
students from UCSD will share their passion for music
and work with groups of elementary school-age children.
No prior experience in music is necessary; participants
will build instruments out of everyday objects, and learn
about making music as a group, and collectively create a
unique musical performance for the general public.

Guitar Lessons
Lessons & music theory instruction with a Berklee College
of Music graduate. Learning should be fun as well as
educational! All lessons taught in a relaxed & supportive
atmosphere. This class will teach the songs that your child
loves & help them create music of their own! Students
must provide guitar and their own amplifier, if electric.

Gymnastics
For beginner students: Instructor will introduce walk
overs, handsprings, tucks & more. For intermediate &
advanced students: This class will focus on technique &
form. Class includes running/standing back handspring
series, round off back handspring tuck, skills & techniques
to work on front tucks, working on bridge kickovers, front
& back walkovers, as well as front & back handsprings.
Students will also learn basic swings & back hip circles on
bars, handsprings on vault, cartwheels & handstands on
balance beam and much more.

PRESCHOOL & YOUTH PROGRAMS
Kindergym: Preschool Gymnastics
This class is a developmental floor gymnastics & fitness
program with emphasis on social & gross motor skills,
physical & movement education and basic health issues.
Students will learn numbers, colors, shapes & words.

Kindergym: Toddler Tumbling
This class is designed to develop the total child through
gross motor skills, movement creativity, physical development
& body awareness while learning numbers, colors,
shapes & songs.

Parent & Tot – Young Tumble
A parent involvement class in which children will have
a great time while developing motor skills, rhythm, coordination,
balance and social skills. Class will use balls,
parachute, obstacles, beanbags, music, sports, (example:
T-ball) etc. Basic animal walks and tumbling skills introduced.
Instructor will help with little more advanced
tumbling skills for the children that are ready-bare feet.
Important: Register Early! No refunds after 2nd class, No
exceptions.
