Hopson has cultivated a successful career utilizing the<br />

skills he honed as a member of the United States Navy,<br />

and as a corporate executive in the technology sector.<br />

Today he appreciates the opportunity to utilize his<br />

business acumen as a trusted resource<br />

for clients throughout <strong>Southern</strong><br />

<strong>California</strong>, representing a spectrum of<br />

real estate transactions.<br />

A native of Virginia, Teddy<br />

capitalized on the opportunity to<br />

develop discipline and leadership skills<br />

through service in the U.S. Navy. His<br />

world view was broadened in travel<br />

throughout Asia, where he learned to<br />

embrace a range of cultures, customs<br />

and personality types. His military<br />

experience proved a solid foundation<br />

for a move to the corporate world;<br />

Teddy forged a successful career as<br />

a senior executive in the IT industry,<br />

where he gained invaluable experience<br />

in sales and marketing. He also<br />

became intimately familiar with the<br />

structure of business and the practice of<br />

maximizing the contributions of others.<br />

“I developed great process skills and<br />

learned how to bring people through<br />

processes,” he explains. “That has<br />

been very useful in real estate.”<br />

Transitioning from the structured<br />

environment of corporate life into<br />

his role as a real estate professional<br />

was a natural segue, Teddy reveals.<br />

Already an investor in local<br />

development projects, he capitalized<br />

on the opportunity to launch his own<br />

business. “I felt that my sales and<br />

marketing experience would transfer<br />

well into real estate,” he offers. “I<br />

was fortunate to have the guidance<br />

of a great mentor, who helped me to<br />

establish a successful business model<br />

early in my career.”
