What events do you have
coming up?
‘Time to Date’ is coming up on the 9th of
March at Club Tropicana; this is a comedy/speed
dating night which is a lot of
fun. The other event I have coming up is
‘SeeSaw Supper’ which is coming up on
the 11th of March, this is about talent being
showcased to business people alike.
Who are the people involved in SeeSaw
Events?
It’s just me at the moment; I do have a couple of
girls who help me out from time to time. I am
going to be having a couple of girls doing PR to
help promote my events.
Showcasing every month in
SeeSaw Suppers; which can
be any talent, dancing, singing
and even photography. If
anyone is interested, please get

Ruth Sawers is an inspirational
business woman and with her
business SeeSaw Events she is willing
to help other people with their
dreams. Here are some questions
I asked Ruth about the different
aspects of her work.
How did the company start?
I always wanted to do events, I would
organise people’s parties and I did a few
charity events when I was younger. I did
marketing, advertising and PR at college
and also worked in recruitment. Due to
trying to get into a better job and failing,
I decided to start my own business.
What is the best part of SeeSaw Events?
The fun, the meeting people, the challenge and also
seeing the events happen. I also love the opportunities
that I may be able to give someone else. If
anyone wants to help out and get some experience
they are more than welcome; I am willing to give
someone that chance.
What is the main object of SeeSaw
Events and Suppers?
The main object was to make me rich
doing something I loved - and it has
always been something I have wanted
to do; ‘start off with something small’
and hopefully become successful. As
for SeeSaw Suppers, the main object
of this is to get the right people in the
right place at the right time; making
things happen between the business
side of things and the talent side. It
doesn’t happen a lot, as business people
stick together as do the artists - so
it is about bringing them together.
