Siberia Vodka Bar
This month’s Club/Bar of the month is going to appeal particularly to
vodka lovers, as we at the ACSM have chosen Siberia Vodka Bar. But, as you’ll
soon find out, there’s slightly more to this vodka lovers’ haven than just being a
vodka bar.
Siberia Vodka Bar can be found on Belmont Street, where it has resided for the past
fifteen years. The bar is owned by Angela Stern and is, currently, under the management
of Elliot Chadwick. The bar is open from 11am- midnight Mondays-Thursdays;
11am-1am Fridays and Saturdays; and 12.30pm-midnight on Sundays. The bar opens
just in time for lunch and customers can get some tasty treats from their extensive, and
affordable, food menu. As well as this, all students can gain a 25% discount on food
with a valid student card.
One of Siberia’s main attractions is its vast range of vodka flavours. From almond to
chilli to toasted marshmallow flavoured vodka you can experience a whole range of
different flavours that will satisfy all of your senses from a shot glass. From Sunday to
Tuesday you can purchase a shot for £1, a perfect price to sample the vast range of vodka
on offer. Every other night you can purchase these shots for £1.80 for a single or £2 for
a double shot. Not only can you make savings on shots; you can get mega savings on
cocktail pitchers Monday through Thursday, with them being £8 and £11 every other
night. As stated before, Siberia doesn’t just cater to vodka lovers; lager lovers will appreciate
the “two pints for £4” deal on Foster’s lager.
Siberia has a fresh and modern look with the interior mostly consisting of creams and
shiny wooden surfaces. Siberia also has a beautiful balcony area which looks up to Union
Street and looks especially beautiful at night. This makes it the perfect place to hold
parties and functions. You can rent out an area of Siberia for your party and they will
provide a full buffet for a very reasonable price.
So, as you can see, Siberia isn’t just a vodka bar; there’s something for everyone and it’s
definitely worth taking a trip down there one night (especially for a cheeky caramel
vodka shot – nom!).
