All held on Tuesdays, starting at
7.30 pm, lasting 30 minutes.
These are times of quiet
contemplation of the type so
often overlooked in this busy
world
With the superb activities
around the Church Green and
progress with the renovation
programmes, the PCC would like to
keep up the momentum and involve as
many local people in St Andrew’s and
Corhampton churches as possible. We
are particularly keen for more to join us
on the PCC itself and for others to join
the Renovation Steering Group.
Neither bodies are arduous (PCC meets
quarterly) but it is important that we get
views from outside the small clusters we
have at the moment and develop a
younger profile – more skills and new
ideas. The PCC needs a treasurer and
secretary in particular, and the
renovation group needs people
with creative imagination for perhaps
making the buildings more functional
and/or with experience in design or
home improvement.
Ewart Wood has full details of the
treasurer's role and Anne Morrice the
responsibilities of the secretary. Both
are interesting jobs and broadly involve
coordinating the business of the PCC
with the rector and the churchwardens

Meonstoke and Corhampton Parochial Church Council
– the treasurer looks after the our
financial well-being (no need to be an
accountant) and the secretary arranges
the meeting agenda, writes minutes, and
keeps the church Electoral Roll up to
date. The renovation programme is
being led by Paul Buxton.
Please give this some thought – the
churches play a central part in the life of
Meonstoke and Corhampton and we
need your voice and support to sustain
their place in the community in the most
suitable way.
