THE UNIVERSITY<br />

By car: Take the <strong>York</strong> Ring Road to<br />

the junction with the A19 or A1079/<br />

A166. The <strong>University</strong> is signposted<br />

from these junctions.<br />

There is no charge for parking for<br />

concert audiences after 6.30pm<br />

or at the weekend; at other times,<br />

please use pay and display facilities<br />

at Campus Central or Campus North<br />

car parks.<br />

If you come to the Box Office during<br />

afternoon opening, you may use<br />

one <strong>of</strong> the limited number <strong>of</strong> free<br />

short-stay spaces in the car park<br />

in front <strong>of</strong> the Information Centre<br />

in Market Square.<br />

Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall: follow<br />

the signs for Wentworth College and<br />

Biology at the roundabout at the<br />

top <strong>of</strong> <strong>University</strong> Road. Take the first<br />

turn left to Car Park D and follow<br />

the footpath signs to Sir Jack Lyons<br />

Concert Hall.<br />

By bus: The <strong>York</strong> Pullman Unibus<br />

Pedestrian and<br />

service no. 44, and First <strong>York</strong> Cycle Route service<br />

to Fulford and<br />

no. 4 both run between the Millennium railway Bridge<br />

station and the <strong>University</strong> campus,<br />

via the city centre, approximately<br />

every 10 minutes during the day and<br />

every 30 minutes in the evening.<br />

closest to the Sir Jack Lyons Walmgate Concert<br />
