Partnership Property<br />
� UPA §25(1): “A partner is a co-owner with his partners<br />
of specific partnership property holding as a tenant in<br />
partnership.”<br />
� UPA §25(2) describes the characteristics of tenancy in<br />
partnership, including:<br />
� Equal right as other partners to possess partnership property<br />
for partnership purposes; but, no right to possess partnership<br />
property for any other purpose (unless the other partners<br />
consent);<br />
� Rights in specific partnership property are not assignable<br />
except in connection with the assignment of rights of all the<br />
partners in the same property.<br />
