PRIZES AND RECOGNITIONS
2010 OHL Group Annual Report
The good performance of OHL Concessions and its subsidiaries has given rise to many
international and national recognitions during the past financial year, including the
following:
• OHL Concessions is firmly placed as the 7th largest developer of transportation
infrastructures under concession worldwide, according to the prestigious ranking
of the magazine, Public Works Financing (PWF).
• The Viaducto Bicentenario toll road has been singled out as the best civil
engineering project in 2010 in the State of Mexico.
• The financing of the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense beltway was given the Latin
American PPP Deal of the Year 2009 award, granted by the Euromoney-Project
Finance group.
• OHL Brasil was recognized as the second best listed company by shareholders
in Capital Aberto’s 2010 Ranking.
• Metro Ligero Oeste obtained the prize for the Best World Light Rail Initiative,
awarded by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).
• The Projeto Escola, organized by OHL Brasil, has been included in the Save the
Children catalog of best corporate practices, promoted by UNICEF and the United
Nations Global Compact.
• OHL Concessions and its Spanish subsidiaries have obtained OHSAS 18001
certification, confirming the quality of the occupational risk management system
established.
• Certification of the concession company, Autovía de Aragón Tramo 1, in quality
and environment according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 4001 standards.
• Subsequent to the close of accounts for the financial year, in February 2010, the
financing of the Viaducto Bicentenario was selected for the Latin American PPP Deal
of the Year 2010 recognition, awarded by the Euromoney-Project Finance group.
