each booking is subject to these standard
terms and conditions.
Conditions of booking
Nu-Tech Associates Ltd is a company limited by guarantee
registered in England No. 04284113 registered office:
Innovation Centre, Westlakes Science & Technology Park,
Cumbria, CA24 3TP. By completing and submitting to us
your booking request, you are confirming your agreement
to these terms and conditions.
For the purposes of clarification, the contracting parties
shall be Nu-Tech Associates Ltd (as the organiser of
conference/seminar on behalf of the Nuclear Institute)
and either you or your employing organisation (as the
recipient of the services). Completed application forms
should be returned to the address below, along with the
correct payment.
Attendance at the event will be confirmed only on receipt
of the full balance.
Cancellation, postponement
and substitution policy
For a delegate booking refund (minus £30 + VAT admin
charge), cancellations must be received at least 30 days
prior to the event. Replacement delegates are welcome at
any time. Additional dinner ticket bookings will be nonrefundable.
Nu-Tech Associates Ltd reserves the right to
cancel any event. In this case, the full fee will be refunded.
In the event that Nu-Tech Associates Ltd postpones an event
for any reason and the delegate is unable or unwilling
to attend on the rescheduled date, you will receive a full
refund of the fee paid.
Nu-Tech Associates Ltd is not responsible for any loss
or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or
cancellation/postponement of an event.
Please note that while speakers and topics were confirmed
at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control
of the organisers may necessitate substitutions, alterations
or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, Nu-
Tech Associates Ltd reserves the right to alter or modify the
advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any
liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations
will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.
Liability: The organisers do not accept liability for any
injuries or losses of any nature incurred by delegates and /
or accompanying persons, nor for loss or damage to their
luggage and/or personal belongings.
Website bookings: A confirmation email will be sent to
you on receipt of your booking.
Venue: This event will be held at the Rheged Centre,
Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 0DQ
Accommodation: There are a limited number of hotel
rooms available at a special discounted rate at the
North Lakes Hotel, Penrith (Tel: 01768 868111) and the
Westmorland Hotel, Tebay (Tel: 01539 624351).These will
be offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis when dealing
