Reporting to Parents in Primary School: Communication, Meaning and Learning Acknowledgements We would like to thank the many people who contributed to the work in this report. Firstly we would like to thank the principals, teachers, parents, and children who played host to us for the case study component and to the school staff members who completed the questionnaire survey. We are grateful to them for sharing their perspectives and for giving so generously of their time. We are also grateful to the school principals who completed the online survey. Our thanks to the NCCA and its personnel who have offered guidance and clarified their needs yet allowed the study to proceed independently. We hope this Final Report contributes to an understanding of the current reporting practices in Irish primary schools.
