Convention Photos
Capture lasting impressions of your convention
experience! Convention photos will be available for
viewing and purchase online at ahima .org/events
approximately two weeks after the conclusion of
the event .

Shuttle service to the convention center is provided
from the official convention hotels not within walking
distance during convention hours . These include The
Avenue, The Drake, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Holiday
Inn Mart Plaza, Hyatt Regency Chicago, Renaissance,
Residence Inn, Sheraton, Spring Hill Inn, and Westin .
Shuttle schedules and information are available in
the hotel lobbies and at the information booth in the
convention center .
Internet Café and Wireless Internet Access
Location: Level 2 , Lobby
Trying to connect with fellow attendees but don’t have
their contact information? Visit the Internet Café and
send a message by “convention mail .” The screens at
the Internet Café list attendees who have messages .
In addition, use these computer workstations to check
e-mail, browse the Web, complete the attendee survey,
and review handouts .
Wireless internet access is also complimentary at
McCormick Place . Log on to the “MCCORMICK”
network to access wireless internet .
Lost and Found
Location: Level 3, Lobby, AHIMA Info Desk
A lost and found is located at the AHIMA Information
Booth (Level 3 Lobby) . At the end of the convention all
unclaimed items are turned over to security personnel
at the McCormick Place, Lakeside Center .
Press Room
Location: Level 2, E255
The press room is open Saturday through Wednesday .
AHIMA’s Media Relations staff will be available to assist
media representatives in covering the 84th AHIMA
Convention and Exhibit .

solely for limited printing of session materials . Avoid

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
AHIMA CEUs are earned by attending both the
general session and educational track sessions,
Monday through Wednesday .

Wednesday | October 3 | 5 CEUs
Additional CEUs can be earned by participating in
special meetings, pre- and post-convention workshops, *
educational site visits, * Product World demonstrations,
and institutes * on Saturday, Sunday, and Thursday . Earn
up to three additional CEUs by visiting the exhibit hall
each day .
Evaluation and CEU Certificates
Your convention experience and opinions are important
to AHIMA and the convention planning committee .
Evaluations and CE Certificates are available online .
Complete the evaluation and receive your CE Certificate
during or after the convention . Once the evaluation is
completed, you will receive an e-mail containing your
CE certificate . The evaluation program will remain
available through November 2, 2012 .
