This course syllabus has been prepared taking recognition of the guidance con-tained in<br />

<strong>CFPA</strong>-E Guideline 11 . Recommended numbers of fire protection trained staff (available for<br />

free download from www .cfpa-e .eu) .<br />

Those requiring a more in-depth underst<strong>and</strong>ing of the key issues or wishing to in-crease<br />

their levels of underst<strong>and</strong>ing should consider completing the 5-day <strong>CFPA</strong>-E course Principles<br />

of <strong>Fire</strong> Safety at Work .<br />

For those responsible for the operation of larger hotels (>200 beds) Guideline 11 recommends<br />

that the <strong>CFPA</strong>-E syllabus <strong>Fire</strong> Safety Technical Cycle is followed .
